If youre a seasoned professional looking for a decent agency to represent you, find another place. This is by far one of the most unprofessional firms Ive encountered and please consider that I do have an extensive background in human resources/recruiting and have dealt with my fair share of agencies. The only person who seemed to have any business working in the staffing industry was the front office coordinator who was personable and intelligent with excellent communication skills. Let me preface this review by saying that I interviewed for an internal position within their office, so I was able to get a better sense of inside practices and overall integrity. On my first visit, the staffing consultant (the interview was for her replacement) was being openly "corrected" by the owner about mistakes she had made on one of her assignments. She also happened to be the person I was interviewing with and as it turns out this was her first real job and she has only been with the company for a couple of months. She was a very sweet girl, but I was a bit confused as to why the owner hired someone so green to fill a role that is not entry-level, not to mention why she was involved in hiring her replacement considering her lack of experience. Despite these red flags, I stayed open-minded about the potential job opportunity. Unfortunately, the odd experience continued when the staffing consultant contacted me after 5 p.m. on the day before they wanted me to go in and meet with the owner, to which I had to decline because I already had plans. (Side note to job seekers: Professional places wont call you after normal business hours to try and schedule for the next day.) Although I was able to schedule for a later date, the attitude I gleaned from the owner on day one was an indication that he would likely not be pleased that I didnt rework my schedule to meet his expectations, which in the end I assumed correctly. For my second visit, the owner was running at least 20 minutes behind so our interview didnt start until about 30 minutes after I was scheduled. To make matters worse, I realized that the agency has a practice of conducting interviews with office doors wide open and anyone in the waiting area can clearly hear the conversation taking place between candidates and recruiters. This is extremely unprofessional and a good example happened while I was waiting to meet with the owner who was interviewing a candidate who had a criminal history. Im fairly certain most candidates wouldnt appreciate divulging personal information to other candidates waiting to be interviewed. Once my interview finally started, I could tell that he was only mildly interested in my credentials, he continuously interrupted me and at a few points while I explained my experiences he just flat out disagreed with how I interpreted certain hiring practices and business trends Ive encountered. He gave me no time to ask my own questions, and it ended as a basic "Dont call us, well call you"; translation: "Were not interested." The whole process that day was a complete waste of my time and I would have preferred that he just openly admitted that they had already selected a candidate from the previous day of interviews, which was clearly the case based on his attitude during our conversation. Ive been in the business long enough to know when an interview is more of a courtesy than a real opportunity to discuss my credentials. Needless to say, this branch of Express is not one that I would expect to stay in business for very long and I would not recommend anyone with a brain and experience try to utilize their services. If they come under new, less arrogant and more professional ownership, they might have a chance of becoming a true contender in the endless sea of other agencies in the West Plano area.

From my own experience, this company is awesome. Ive had nothing but a great experience working with them. They make you feel a part of Express family and they genuinely care about you. What I really liked is that they kept coming to my job just to make sure everything is okay. When they place you to your job, you still have an option to say you dont like the job or you want to try something else and they will find another job for you. Also, they are responsible, the pay is always on time and all their staffing is very helpful. If you are looking for an employment agency, dont hesitate to go to Express, thats the best choice you can make in order to get to a job or career you want. They have a big selection of available jobs and they will find something that fits you the best!

They have gotten me a postion before but was short lived due to problems between express and the company. Everytime I call they say they have nothing available at the moment but will call me when something comes up.These people have left me unemployed for over 6 weeks! What kind of "staffing" agency does that to their client?
