Saw a posting on craigslist about job openings and made the mistake of going to there office. The receptionist is VERY rude but she was pleasant compared to the angry and hostile "recruiter". I recently had my i.D. renewed and i had my state issued temporary paper i.d. to use until my real one comes in the mail. Immediately upon her seeing this she flat out in the most angry and annoyed voice said "this isnt going to work"! So i told her its from the state of texas and its a legal document she read it and grudgingly said "i guess ill see if my boss will accept it but i know he wont"! And of course she said it wouldnt pass. Why in the world would u have recruiters with TERRIBLE attitudes trying to fill job positions? Now my plastic i.d. has came in the mail but im definitely not going back i dont care if they have a job paying $25 an hour. I suggest u avoid this harsh hell hole and go to a decent and respectable staffing service such as Sterling or Stride. These people SHOULDENT be in business! I mean why would u go to a place thats supposed to "specialize" in staffing but cant even staff there office properly? And the unpleasant angry rude womans name was Sarita. Oh and i am white so maybe the person who posted about discrimination was right.

I had a horrible experience. I called and was told they had several positions. I went there and filled out the application in their very sparse and dim office. I was called to the back and suddenly they had no positions. Even though I could see on the sheet in front of her and on the board behind her several open positions as well as what I was told. She then did the strangest thing. She completely said the requirements she was looking for was different than what I had and I had done the exact job which they were posting on their site as needing several people. I was black yet they had a list of their workers on the board and all had hispanic surnames. In other words, to put it bluntly, this place discriminates against blacks. I put two and two together. 99.9% of their employees a friend also told me are hispanics. They just dont want to hire black people. Period.

Nothing like I thought it would be. The hiring process was super easy. However, if you are offered a job with them READ EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF PAPER YOU SIGN. They do not go over any of this paperwork with you and if you are unhappy with the place you work for and quit without giving them 5 days notice they will only pay you minimum wage. When I told the recruiter I wanted to quit she sent me back a copy of this paper I signed saying that. If I was ever vocally told this info I wouldve planned accordingly. Even funnier when she sent me an email with that paper she said any questions to let her know...when I asked a question did she reply back?? Of course not. Sneaky sneaky! I would stay away from this place

So happy I found this agency for my mother! From the phone call I first made to the whole process everything have been very easy and very professional. The young receptionist was very polite, and courteous and bilingual by the way and helpful. We filled out the application and she got called to the back filled out all paper work and everything was just awesome. I like how they give u options not just one job, they also try to see whats closer and the best match for you. I have had a great experience with VSSI and I am so sorry the other people didnt get to experience what me and my mother did. But give them a chance, not because one apple ruin the bunch does not mean it will ruin the crop.

I was assigned to a job that wasnt fully explained to me and started the next day. I have a bad back and realized that heavy lifting was all this job was. I respectfully explained I wasnt going to be able to do the job and asked for their help to place me somewhere without heavy lifting. They told me to turn in my badge and that I was no longer eligible to use their staffing agency, on top of only being paid minimum wage for my hours worked instead of the 10.50 that the position paid.

I called interested in a position and was told to go to the office. The application process was simple and quick. I had an interview the next day and was placed in the position the following week. The staff was very helpful and responsive. Great place with great opportunities. Sarita has been awesome!

Great place to work for. When you go though youll think theyre kind of mean but theyre not. Theyre cool people. Will get you a job. Ive been at my job (old castle) for 4 months now and i love it. Just got hired on full time. Ill be here for a long time.

I really wish they would hire new receptionists. These ladies are ALWAYS so rude for absolutely no reason. Every interaction Ive had with them has consisted of them being curt and cutting me off while Im talking.
