Horrible experience. My husband went and the guys were rude/had attitude as soon as he walked in and said hi to them (no one responded) The barber said "Im open, come on" (as in hurry up) and when my husband sat in the chair, he was about to tell him what he wanted, hadnt quite got the chance to yet and the barber was already acting like he was about to start cutting and didnt even ask what he wanted done. The barber then cuts his hair for a quick 5 mins and then says done. My husband leaves, the barber goes outside to smoke and my husband then looks in a mirror in his vehicle and discovers a TON of uneven sparse hairs sticking up, so he goes back in and the barber doesnt even apologize, has attitude, and cuts his hair for another 2 mins and still does it completely horrible. My husband told me all of this and I dont want anyone else to be treated that way by this establishment. Its not right to ignore someone who walks in and says hi, expecting to be treated well and just get a good haircut and then quickly buzz through their hair for 5 mins to try to get it over with just you can can go out and smoke a cigarette! DO YOUR JOBS! if you cant do it right or dont have patience then dont be a barber! Ill be telling ALOT of my friends not to go to this shop anymore! I dont know if the barber was being judgmental and for whatever reason decided he didnt like my husband but my husband is a cool, friendly person, with that said. Treat people how youd wanted to be treated walking into a business!

Probably the worst experience Ive had getting a hair cut. The barber who cut my hair was very unprofessional. He did not care about providing great service and did not care about his clientele. I came for a haircut and it was my first time at taperz. I drove 20 miles to get a haircut because I saw the reviews on the internet and left extremely disappointed. The barber cut my hair and when I asked him to edge my beard up he got upset and started shaving my beard with a straight edge using no shaving cream. I asked him if he could use shaving cream and instead of accomadating me he told me to stop moving my mouth and continued shaving my beard and giving me razor burns. He also left me with an incomplete beard trim. I will never come back and will never recommend this place.

My husband took my son here today. We normally go here all the time but our regular barber was let go, so someone else cut his hair; whoever has the first chair. Haircut is sloppy, edge up is uneven around the ears and its not even a clean cut, there is long hairs everywhere. I think he used a dull razor blade for the edge up and the side burns are all wrong....Im so frustrated. We even had to pay $15 instead or our usual $12. Unfortunately I did not go and my husband doesnt know how to speak up or else I would have made sure it was done right. We will not be going there again.

Unprofessional atmosphere. Went to the Taperz in Fort Worth and two barbers were fighting so I decided to try the Taperz in Saginaw. I had an appointment at 9 and signed in when i got there. I got skipped and sat there until 10:30. If you want a really great hair cut and dont mind spending a little more then go to 18/eight in Keller. Their customer service is excellent and they will give you free beer, wine, or soda.

Real authentic barbershop. Cant find many places like this anymore. Being from Georgia Ive always got a fresh cut before I left to visit and folks out there always ask whose my barber. So you know Taperz is doing something right. A lot of great barbers working there but I would most likely recommend Carlos "Loso" the barber. Takes his time and always ends a nice cut with excellence.

First off, I wouldnt call this place an old school or professional barbershop. Its more like an new age type of barbershops Ive been coming across. But dont let that detour you from going there. They do time there time doing what they do but remind you this isnt a procuts shop cut & go and hopefully they didnt chop it up. They have some skilled barbers here I will say.

We were visiting from out of town and my son needed a haircut so I brought him here and its prob one of the best cuts hes ever gotten. The guy who cut his hair(last chair on left side) did an amazing job and didnt act like it was just another cut. He took his time and conversed with my 10 year old and made sure every piece of hair was in place and looked good. Thanks!

This was my first time here. I was butchered by another barber at a different shop before a night out. Burt saved the day. He was professional and I was greeted as I walked in then before I sat down to get cut Burt introduced himself and shook my hand. Amazing cut and overall experience was great! My boyfriend went in for a haircut and this is what he got, worst thing is that we had a wedding to go. Ask for a come over and it looks like they give him 3 lines as u can see. He got hes money back and yeah it will grow back but it was for an important moment and it was ruined becouse of a haircut.

First and last time, The worst experience ever i took my son to get a haircut the barber was very rude didnt cut his hair the way i asked and got a really bad attitude when i asked him to fix something that wasnt straight, i will NEVER go back! I went in to get a tapered haircut and the lady saw the picture,which had about 2-3 inches of hair on the top I asked for it and I thought she was doing good but then when she was finished I didnt even have an inch of hair at the top she did good on the sides but just meat up on the top.

My son just received an awful haircut. I was told that she had three years experience, that his fade was done correctly, yet my son and I were not happy with his cut. I gused their opinion is more important than the customers. I really wish I would have gotten her name.

Ive been coming here for years and just now writing a review. I can say consistency is throughout there shop you will get a good cut with everyone there. Pete and Junior are really great. I will forever bring my boys here for as long as theyre in business.

I love this place! Yes, they take their time on the haircuts and they do their best to accommodate every client. Sometimes there is a wait, but it is well worth it. All the Barbers are friendly. This is not a chop shop, in and out place.
