I posses a kind of mutant, fine hair that most barbers find impossible to deal with, and I often wind up with cowlicks and other such hair deformities. Subsequently, getting a haircut has always been a nightmare experience for me, that is, until I stepped in the Lodge Gentlemans Barbershop nearly a year and a half ago. This is, as their name might imply, not your ladys hair care establishment. Theyve gone to great lengths to masculinize the interior and create a classic barbershop setting. Youll feel at ease waiting for you cut, and not like some scrub sitting the reception area of your local dentists office, or the like. The wood flooring, though evidently vinyl, still lends an agreeable charm to the overall ambiance. Much to my surprise, I also found their barber stools to be extraordinarily comfortable as well. What matters, though, is consistency, and these guys cut hair like champs. I have never been displeased with quality of service and skill that they render. They know how to manage my stupidly awful hair, and throw in other courtesy finishes like eyebrow trimming and even a quick, old-fashioned touch up with a straight razor if you so desire. If you would really like to stop feeling like youre on an assembly line, then please, by all means, go and get your hair cut by people who take actual pride in their work.

I went to a barber shop in Arlington for 10 years. I was very loyal to my barber, waiting hours on a weekend to get a haircut. Then I found the Lodge Barber Shop on Google. I didnt know if I should trust the other reviews, but I was blown away with the excellent service, and solid haircuts I have received. I tried probably 10 other barber shops over that time trying to find something (A) closer to home, that (B) didnt require me to have to wait for a hair cut. Three different barbers at the Lodge have given me a haircut over the last few months, and all three of have been very good. That level of consistency in their barbers is the #1 reason they will have my business going forward. It also the cleanest, coolest looking barber shop I have ever been to. I never have to wait in a long line, and every time I walk in the staff are friendly, and music is low key. Plus they have a pool table, and sports on TV. I have gotten to know Josh (the owner) over the last couple visits. The guy is serious about creating a great barber experience. Its refreshing to go to a barber who looks at his work like a true professional. I plan on supporting the local business in my community, and giving these guys my business as loyally as the last place. Anthony

I used to live close by and have enjoyed the couple haircuts that Ive had here in the past. I moved to Dallas over a year ago and have been having trouble finding a place I liked, so I decided to spend the hour driving to The Lodge. I got there about an hour before closing and the doors were locked. The barber was finishing up his last customer and I guess he wanted to go home early. The haircuts Ive had at the Lodge have been good and affordable, but its frustrating that Ive now wasted 2 hours of my day because they didnt want to stay open till 7:00.

Very cool place inside. Ive been growing my beard for five months. Ive been scared to let anyone touch it. I have been driving by the place for months.figured I would stop in ....... it look classy. If Im not mistaken Maria step forward and said she could trimmed beards. So if any of you gentlemen have beards and need a trim. I would recommend Maria five stars all the way. She took her time didnt rush hot towel and neck massage.

Fantastic barbershop great prices and even better haircuts , John does a fantastic job every time Im in and thats why he continues to get my business every time I need a haircut for about the last year. Highly recommended

I popped in here to get a trim and they did such a great job. The place has a cool vibe and I left smelling amazing! Highly recommend this place. I dont think ill be getting my hair cut anywhere else from now on

The Lodge has been my regular spot to get a haircut. Claudia has been my regular barber and she does an amazing job. She always remembers my cut, I dont even have to remind her. I recommend visiting her.

Talked to someone on the phone about pricing and then whenever I get there a barber starts talking down to my husband as if he wasnt going to pay and tried to charge before getting a haircut.

Have been going there about a year. John always does a very detailed job and does not rush you out of his chair. The other guys there are always friendly and hospitable. Highly recommend.

This place isnt just for men. Ashley rocks cuts for men and ladies. The atmosphere is masculine cool, but welcoming. Wouldnt go anywhere else.
