(Mrs is writing this review) My husband and I took lessons for around 2 years longer than we expected! (We thought we were just going to take basic introductory lessons because I fell while dancing at our wedding 35 years ago and when our son got engaged we were determined to dance without falling at he and his wifes wedding!) We had a great time taking lessons from Holly! and from Ricardus when Holly was unavailable! They did a fantastic job! I have rheumatoid arthritis and Holly really molded her teaching to accommodate my physical situation and to our feeling successful as we learned to dance. We had a great time going to Friday night practice dances when Holly chose the music! The benefits from ballroom dancing as exercising have been multifold! As I re-read this review there are so many exclamation points. They are heartfelt and full of appreciation and you should really give yourselves the present of taking ballroom dance lessons from Holly and Ricardus or any of the other teachers at Arthur Murray Dance Studio San Antonio. (We would see other teachers helping their students at the Friday night dances and saw they were also quite good. )

During our time at Arthur Murray Dance Studio, our family has been able to become part of something far more than we had ever imagined. Things move so quickly day to day but the time in studio seems to stand still. It is a moment where children and adults are able to catch a glimpse of what we seem to have lost in our daily lives. The elegance and grace, confidence and poise, and rhythm carry outside the studio and into all aspects of your life. The friendships we have made, because the instructors and the other dancers are truly friends the likes of which I could never begin to properly define in words, have made our experience that much richer. I am sure that by my review it is clear that I only have the highest praise for Arthur Murray San Antonio, the staff and community, and I recommend it to anyone interested in an elevated life experience they wont regret.

My fiance and I live in separate states. With our wedding only three weeks out, I was able to fly down and visit for a few days. We called Arthur Murray, hoping to squeeze in a few basic dance skills in the short time we had, but they did far more than we ever expected! It was actually a holiday weekend, so the studio was supposed to be closed for three of the four days I was in Texas. However, Richard offered to come in on his days off and help us prepare. He took us from the very basic steps to a fully choreographed routine (including a lift and a dip) for our first dance. Both of us truly enjoyed the experience, and weve already begun talking about going back for some other lessons. As a result of our amazing experience, I would highly recommend this studio!

I received my "Dancing With the Stars" training at the Arthur Murray Dance Center in San Antonio, and it was an incredible experience. The warmth and sincerity of the owners, Holly and Richard, was truly impressive. They were ALWAYS helpful and supportive. Always positive. Always on their A+ game. The studio was inviting and friendly. My partner/instructor was Jasmine, and she was absolutely delightful! We spent 5 months together in an intensive training program, and she made the entire experience UBER-fun with her effervescent personality, creative choreography, and unwavering patience with my clumsiness. If would HIGHLY recommend this studio to anyone interested in improving their dancing skills.

We signed up for dance lessons a couple of weeks before our wedding and are so glad we did! We went for a trial with Luke and were stepping all over each other and were so uncoordinated. We signed up for the 6 lesson class with Luke and couldnt be happier! By the 2nd lesson we were so much more comfortable dancing with each other, and Luke helped us create a dance for our first dance that was beautiful! It was worth every penny spent to have a memorable first dance experience and to feel confident on the dance floor. Luke was very patient with us and was a great instructor!

My fiancé and I came here for wedding dance lessons and everyone was so accommodating. Sy was our instructor and she was so great! When we described what we wanted our dance to be like, she taught us the perfect moves! They will teach you the very basics of twirling and moving if youd like, all the way to amazing choreographed dances! Every instructor is very friendly and personable and make you feel comfortable even when youre terrible at dancing. We have gotten so much better and are so thankful for your help in making our dance memorable:)!

Arthur Murray San Antonio is a wonderful studio to learn how to dance! Our daughter started dancing here 8 years ago and she has loved every moment. Great studio for beginners! My wife and I started going and taking private lessons as a date night activity and had zero dancing experience. Everyone at the studio is very nice and helpful and make you feel right at home. We have been working with Luke who has been an excellent teacher as we progress and work on multiple dances. We have also attended a group lesson and one of their parties where you can meet and get to know other people. Overall a wonderful experience, definitely recommend.

Well to start i was one who never dance but thsnks to richard luke and halley but above all andria took someone with no experience and no talent and molded me into a sociable and soon to b talented outgoing person i take my hat off to her shes a very talented person if seen people dance before but shes got it down to and art u know what they say what u do in life echoes an eternity shes it thanks guys yall were born to dance i hope to one day b half of what yall r

The instructors are friendly and very patient. I thought that I would be uncomfortable with the proximity of some of the dances but Cody was very respectful and made me feel 100% comfortable! I also thought that it would be extremely difficult to learn the basics of dance because I had NEVER danced a day in my life but the instructors are willing to work with you until you master it. I LOVE THIS PLACE!
