I went to this salon for over a year and was very happy, until my most recent visit. I wanted foil highlights and a haircut for my upcoming graduation from nursing school. I have really thick, unruly hair and was accustomed to paying big bucks for my hair cuts there--no problem, because I thought they did a fabulous job. When I got there, I asked her (the owner) if we could talk about the highlights first. I told her what I wanted and asked what she charged. She asked ME what I thought she should charge. Let me get something straight--I was not attempting to bargain with her; I needed to know how much I would have to pay. If I couldnt afford what she was charging, then I wasnt going to get the highlights--simple as that! I responded that I was used to paying about $100, but that I knew she probably charged more. She agreed to $100 and began to do my hair. I tried to chat with her, but she was totally unresponsive the entire time. I started to feel really bad--not the way anyone should ever feel. Well, she finished and had another girl cut my hair, which I had specifically requested her to do. I sat and watched two other customers get served drinks and talked and laughed with. I had nothing more said to me and was not even offered a bottle of water! I will never return to this salon. I am now a Nurse (and can afford more than I could then) and I know lots of ladies with whom I will and have shared this experience with. I quietly left and did not air my grievance with the owner, however as I searched for a hairstylist today, I was reminded of how horrible she made me feel.

A friend got her hair done here. It looked nice but when she put it up a chunk of her hair was missing. We went to talk to the stylist about it and see what we could do. We went with good intentions and in a nice calm way. The stylist immediately got offended starting raising her voice and accusing of us lying. We remained calm and were trying to get to a solution, then the owner came and started yelling at us saying thats how her hair is and started pulling at my friends hair. They both started yelling at my friend and I could see her eyes watering. They were making her feel bad even though THEY were the ones who messed up her her. They started arguing with me too! It was horrible. The worst service Ive ever experienced in my life. They were being very unprofessional and yelling. They had a customer there, but I guess they didnt care and just wanted to argue. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I advise to NEVER go there theyre unprofessional and theyre bullies.

I have been going here for a year I have really curly hair and was happy until a month ago. I have chunks missing through out my hair. I have never had someone thin my hair like this. Also she didnt blend my layers, and if you have curly hair you know you cant just cut a layer and have another layer 2 inches apart from each other. I told her that she cut a hole in my hair and I went back but she took it offensively, and did not even pay attention to the layer I was talking about. I will not be going back my hair is so messed up. Waiting for it to grow out.

I love this salon! Otilia has been doing my hair for a couple of years now, and Ive always been very happy with her work and the service at Fonsi. Ive also seen how much healthier my hair looks after using the products she recommends. Whenever Im ready for a change, Otilia has always helped me to pick the best color and cuts for my hair. I have never received more compliments on my hair than when Otilia does it. She does amazing work, and its definitely worth the cost and the time. Ill never go anywhere else.

I have been going to Fonsi Beauty Salon for quite some time. Ive always had a pleasant experience with Otilia. Her daughter Crystal is also very pleasant and now cuts my daughters hair. Their staff is very accommodating and I have nothing but good things to say. My hair is very curly and super thick and can be very difficult to work with but after everything is said and done, I am very pleased with my results each and every time! Would highly recommend.

The owner almost force me to have a treatment without telling me the price,, I agreed and then at the time of payment was too expensive, their service is not that good for the price and the products are bad

Its definitely a nice, clean, family-owned salon. They do hairstyling, nails, massages, waxing, etc. Cristal has been very friendly each time & gives helpful advice on hair.
