I went in to just get a trim right before the holidays. I went to the older lady with short hair and paid $20 for the trim. I asked just have only an inch taken off. Since I only was paying for a trim, she blow dried it just enough to make it semi-dry and then I put it right back up. Now mind you, I dont have a straighter, nor do I put heat to my hair I usually just take a shower put a little product in it and when its almost dry I just put it up. I am letting my hair grow and getting back healthy since I had damaged it about a year ago. This, so sadly, turned into a get what you pay for situation. DONT DARE EXPRESS YOUR OPINION OR CONCERN WITH ANY PERSON UP THERE! I called after I got back into town. I had taken a shower noticing more than an inch was gone, no biggie, I probably need it. Then I didnt put it directly up after it had dried. I was going to borrow my friends straightener but before I could even do that, I realized there was a huge chunk of hair missing. I went in tonight to have them fix it. After about ten nasty minutes of going in circles arguing with, the once sweet girl who translates, not only did I get told that "they didnt do that", I was not offered a fix I was just handed my money back and told to go to whoever cut hair before. I have never EVER seen such awful customer service in my life. I was made to feel like I was a liar, and that I was the problem. I asked her If what she was telling me is that I am just going to have to wait for my hair to grow back out until I can wear it down again. She had the nerve to tell me.."yes." I have worked, and still do work, customer service and this is atrocious! I would never make anyone feel the way these filthy women made me feel. Unless you want a hack job, look to get your hair cut else where. I dont know how the hell they have 4.5 stars on ratings, guess they have a lot of friends and family. Thanks for screwing up my hair VEME hair salon. Yuck! You were very nice, until I wanted to make things right, THIS IS A SHAME. I would add a picture if I could because I cried when I finally saw it, but I cant. Just dont want anyone else to have to suffer growing your hair back out. Because obviously thats the way they fix things at VEME hair salon. Save yourself the trouble spend another $10 somewhere else, I promise you its worth it. Smh...

If you are basing your hair salons on stars and comments like I was, DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give 0 stars, I would. The owner openly told me that she asks people she knows to go comment and give her high ratings. No credit card machine. She gives someone your card info over the phone! Ella toma tu tarjeta y llama a algien en el telefono. Tu informacion se lo dan a algien mas! I got exactly what I did NOT ask for and paid $100 for it! I asked for light ash brown hair and got black and red. We looked at photos together and hair samples. There was no confusion. She tried to reassure me by saying it would wash out and turn the color I wanted. Which it has and is now an even brighter RED. She conveniently made me pay up front. She tried to charge me $180 for cut, color and highlights which is the highest price Ive ever heard for my length of hair in my entire life. She saw me arrive in scrubs straight from work and saw dollar signs. Immediately started trying to sell me products. $45 for a small bottle of oil. Not even visible changes or vintage park charges this for hair or small products. She saturated my scalp with dye. It was almost dripping wet. There was no form or technique here. And now my hair is 3 different colors (mostly black and red). I urge you not to go here. I still hate my hair to this day and havent had enough money to go fix it. Do not pay for services here. This my worst hair salon experience. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. I felt that posting this would be a service to anyone that is looking for a new salon like I was.

I was looking for a salon near my home. Having a toddler, I dont have time to waste. I needed a salon with skilled stylists that can understand what I am looking for. I found Veme by driving by and decided to give it a try. Its a simple place in a strip mall, the inside is also simple but clean and well kept. I am soo glad I gave this place a chance! I have straight hair and its so easy to leave my cut uneven. The stylist took her time, checked and seemed to take her work very seriously. I have been there three times (last time was a few days ago) and I have always left there feeling well taken care of and happy with my color and cut....even days later! This last time, I felt more comfortable and decided to put a little purple. The stylist (i later found out it was the owner), did a wonderful job making it look age appropriate and keeping it fun. Im definitely happy to have found a place I can go in and getting a very good cut for a fair price! I have received several compliments both on the color and cut. Im surprised they arent swamped, its a little gem more people should know about. I dont really like writing reviews (I did tell you I have an active toddler, right?), but this place deserves some recognition and hope this review helps someone. You should give this place a try, you wont be disappointed!

I tan at the place next door so I thought it would be a convenient stop to get my hair done. I was just kicked out before I could get inside. I parked my car and they were standing outside with the door open. I thought they were holding the door for me, as they stood there and watched me finish up on my phone in the car. As soon as I exited my car, and took a few steps in their direction, the girl closed the distance. She informed me that I would need to move my car as this space was only for them. I dont think being rude to potential customers, when there is plenty of parking, is the best business decision. Perhaps using that opportunity to hand out a flyer would grow your business. You can hear them having loud disputes from the establishments around them, and other customers are also being hassled about parking. As for me ... I think Ill make the drive over a few blocks to a more friendly place.
