Our little girl has just completed a very well run pre-school system through Kinderland. The teachers are kind but firm, the activities fun and educational. The options available for parents to have a hand in the education of their children are wonderful. One must remember that this is a daycare. Anyone who thinks that their child is ALWAYS a sweet little angel has some hard knocks coming to them. The approach to discipline in this school is not unlike most of our home disciplinary measures. Time outs, sitting in a corner or on their chairs at a designated spot. The only raised voices I have ever heard were to allow the teacher to bring the classroom to order. I have never observed any of the teachers behaving inappropriately and find that they are all wonderfully open and willing to talk about the child and how they are reacting in social situations. If you are expecting military schooling, this is not the place for you. If you are expecting them to teach your children from the end of a long stick wearing white overcoats and gloves, this is not the place for you. The teachers and staff at Kinderland are achieving their goals and reaching out to young minds in a manner that will surely benefit the generations being taught in their system. They put the humanity back in the element of learning. You will be hard pressed to find a daycare so fitting, or within your budget anywhere else.

We have 3 children, all of which have attended Kinderland. Our oldest daughter attended Kinderland from the time she was a baby until she was 12. We completely trust the teachers and staff at Kinderland. When concerns have risen, we have been able to vocalize them and have them addressed very efficiently. The teachers treat our children as their own and our kids love to go to class. If our children were not happy, we would not be leaving them at Kinderalnd. I have read the negative reviews and I strongly disagree. Although at times they may need to be stern in order to get a child to listen or to prevent a child from disrupting the learning of other children, I have never once seen anything that I felt inappropriate. If your child behaves and respects the teachers, there is not anything to be concerned about. When my child(ren) have done something of concern, I have been told about it what action was taken to correct it. I have also been willing to work with the teachers to remedy the problem at home as well, and this has seemed to work great. If you are willing to work with the teachers and also to realize that no ones child is perfect, this becomes a great partnership. Thanks Tomi and Barbara and all of the wonderful teachers for giving our children a safe and fun place to attend daycare!

Let me just start by saying I love Kinderland, they are Awesome and are by far the best daycare center I have ever dealt with! Kinderland is a loving, safe environment for childern of all ages. As a working mother, I appreciate their professionalism, clean environment, and wonderful staff. My daughter has attended preschool/daycare at Kinderland for a year and a half, I love that everyone knows her by name, and we are always greeted as we come and go. I constantly get compliments about my daughters intelligence and wonderful demeanor. I feel she would not be nearly as smart, or sweet without the teachers at Kinderland. They have great teaching programs and my daughter is always learning new things. At three she can write/identify letters and numbers, write her own name and so much more! Plus she is always singing adorable songs shes learned at school. Kinderland is reasonably priced; they genuinely care about all of the kids in the facility, and are a delight to deal with. I recommend Kinderland to anyone looking for preschool or daycare facilities in Utah County!

Regarding the situation below, this happened last year on January 18, 2011. The course of action that was taken on this situation was not lightly and executed quickly. 1. All teachers involve were disciplined. 2. Full investigation with policed and State licensor called in by Kinderland was done. 3. Motion cameras installed outside in front to alert any movement under 4feet. 4. Bells installed on classroom and outside doors. Since then we have had no incident and higher customer satisfaction. We work hard to follow all safety guidelines and hope with these new added actions taken that Kinderland never see this situation again. The parents were very impressed and supportive with the action that were taken and continued care with us for both of their children. Kinderland is grateful for "Screen Name Georgia” and the other parents that brought the child back a year ago and let this be a reminder to all of us that it really does take a village to raise a child and they are getting wiser as our tech world continues. My son joined Kinderland when he was 6mos old. I exhausted my searches for a suitable daycare along the entire Wasatch Front, and was so relieved when we found Kinderland! He has been attending this school for 5 years now, when I changed job situation (unemployed) and had to take him out. Kinderland has prepared him so well for school, and I know there was no way that I would have been able to give him the structure and knowledge that his teachers and administrators have been able to. This was comforting to me as most mothers I assume have the struggle between working out of the home, or working as a stay at home mother. He was loved and cared for unconditionally and this is why I will forever remain indebted to this wonderful school. I can never thank you enough for loving Milo! --Tresca

My daughter has been attending this school for months. Out of no where, she comes home crying and says shes afraid of her teachers because one of them pushed her. I spoke with the Asst. Director (Barbara), who was convinced my daughter was lying. I felt it best to leave the situation by simply stating that I did not want ANY member of their staff putting their hands on my daughter in any way. When I went to pick up my daughter THAT AFTERNOON, Barbara informed me that she forced my child to sit on her lap while she physically restrained her for 15 minutes. Needless to say, my daughter was terrified. I removed her immediately.

My wife and I absolutely recommend Kinderland!! The staff, especially Barbara in the front office are very welcoming. Every staff member has made our son (currently 9 years old) feel very welcome. He told us that they helped him have the funnest summer ever, and as excited as he is to start 4th grade he was sad to know that he wouldnt see everyone at Kinderland as much. He was happy to here that we will continue to use Kinderland as our backup care (on early out days, etc) and that we will continue taking him back to Kinderland every summer for their summer camp for as long as they will have us!

My son attended Kinderland from 2 until almost 3 years. I drove from Eagle Mountain, to Kinderland, then to my job in SALT LAKE to keep him there, because we both loved it so much! I would keep him there forever if it was more practical. Absolutely WONDERFUL staff and atmosphere. Pricing was very reasonable as well. I highly reccommend Kinderland, and have nothing but great things to say! :) I am truely sad my son has to leave...definitely some "big shoes" to fill!
