My wife ordered online through tap to eat. She wrote a detailed note about my allergy to Peppers, red peppers bell peppers, pepper flakes, anything that has peppers in it, and ask them to leave Peppers out of anything that might otherwise have them in. I stop by to pick up the order after work, and they said they didnt have any take out order for me. They said my wife probably ordered it from a different location downtown, but if I told them what I wanted they could just make it and it would only take a few minutes. So I called my wife, just to double check that I was at the right place. Hi clarified to the staff that it was an online order, and apparently had not checked their online orders. Not a big deal because they could make it real quick, and the food is ready in about 10 minutes. But I reiterated the food allergy, and they said they got it and make sure the kitchen got it, but they needed to make the spring rolls from scratch, so as long as they were making them from scratch I asked to leave the cilantro off, too. And they were great to oblige. Unfortunately, I got home and took one bite and whatever sauce they put on the pad thai was very spicy and obviously full of crushed red pepper. So we called, and the manager Celeste was great. She said that isnt even the regular sauce they put on pad thai, it shouldnt have any heat at all on their regular pad thai sauce is more Sweet. So they must have just mixed up the sauce. Mistakes happen, but we were disappointed, and I couldnt eat my dinner. Celeste offered us a refund and tried to make it right. We appreciate that. Well probably try it again because we like Thai food and its a convenient place to stop on my way home from work. But the first impression wasnt very good.

Many time that this restaurant disappointed me! Never my idea to go back. But my husband keep buying the deal from internet, grrr! Months ago I ordered Curry puffs , curried potato stuff spoiled(sour you dont have to dip in the sauce) and I was wondering the kitchen staff ever label everything when they did make them. Last night we got there at 8:10 pm, looked like they were getting ready to close. The floor already mopped. We just barely sat down, here come the Chinese looking server wanted to know if we ready to order. Not a single smile on her face. Entire time she was so unwelcome and bad attitude just the way she talked or treated our table. Please if you need to hurry home you shouldnt be there.Pad Khiang or Beef basil cant claim those are Thai. Chicken wing Thai style was a big failure not taste but SPICY AS WE ORDER MEDIUM. I ordered my drink twice before she told me she had to wait for bartender.(how do I know at least let me know why) My kids even said she wasnt friendly we say thank you, or ask for something she never responded or said back. Worst worst experiences there. Not a chance I will go back there again

Literally the worst service Ive had at a restaurant ever. The food was cold which I assume was the waitresses fault. I had a Groupon and we ordered four plates for a table of four people. It took her at least 20 minutes to talk to us after we finished eating, it felt like longer but I dont want to exaggerate. I asked to spilt the check amount in half and then have the Groupon applied to my half, and for leftover boxes. She spilt the plates, not the amount and then brought it back, no boxes. I explained exactly what I wanted in detail and even did the math for her. She brought back two checks both with completely incorrect amounts. No boxes still. Explained again what I wanted and gave her a payment card and redeemed the Groupon. She left taking some of our uneaten food with her. She brought back the bill with THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE CHECK CHARGED TO IT. Are you kidding me? At this point Im not even mad, its just funny. The manager reversed the charge but offered no other redemption for the trouble. Not that I would have wanted to ever come back anyway... And we didnt even get Andes mints with the check. LAAAME.

My wife and I have fallen in love with this place and we get great service. Portion sizes are very generous and we always go home with leftovers. The dinner menu used to have single sizes and family sizes, and now it is mainly just large family sizes. So my wife and I always just share an appetizer and then we get one main dish to share. So it is actually a little bit cheaper than it used to be when we would each get our own single serving dish. Sometimes we will get the Mango sticky rice which is absolutely delicious, that is if we feel we have save enough room for dessert. Other desert offerings are very good as well. The Pad Thai, is really good. We also like the stir fry dishes quite well. Give them a try, Im sure youll be glad you did.

Honest opinion - if you have had thai food before, please dont eat here. This is the worst Thai food Ive ever had in my life of 20 years. Bad even for salt lake city standards. Its not thai its something to please people in south salt lake who dont know any better. Its Americanized thai, not authentic and way too sweet - even the red curry. I have eaten at places like siam orchid and saia but thus is crazy, totally different. Honestly, Thai people themselves will never put this food in their mouth. The staff was nice. This is an honest review from someone who love thai food and have lived in ny, ca, nv etc.

This is a great Thai restaurant. I went here with 9 other co-workers and we all liked the food and had a great experience. I ordered the lunch special - pick two items, get rice and a spring roll. I ordered curry and meat. The potion sizes were huge and the food tasted great - although it wasnt exceptional or really different from most Thai food in the area. The only downside I can think of was the wait. It seemed like we were waiting forever, but our huge group size could have influenced that more than anything. They also have many vegetarian options which is a plus in my book. I recommend this place!

We have been here several times over the last five years. The service is always delightful. The food is always good. I recommend the curry puffs and/or lettuce wraps for an appetizer, massaman curry or Tom Kha Gai for your main and of course mangoes with sticky rice for dessert. The herbed lemonade is definitely the best beverage on the menu. To go and dine-in, they always provide enough rice. We recently entertained some out of town guests at Thai Siam and they loved the place. Thats all you can really ask for.

HORRIBLE ! I ordered Orange Chicken. It was basically chicken nuggets from McDonalds. They literally gave me breaded chicken strips, threw a bunch of poppy seeds on it and drizzled the tiniest bit of tangy sauce on it. I cant believe a Thai restaurant would serve such a pathetic dish. It was 13 bucks! way over priced! Ive had Thai Orange chicken from other Thai restaurants and it was delicious. Stay away from this place. By their Orange chicken, ye shall know them.
