OMG! Alex is so nice and did such a good job. I had been in once before to get my hair done for a party I was going too and I really enjoyed the atmosphere so I decided to ditch my hair girl of three years and try Alex out. Everyone there was so nice from the first second I got in the door. Alex dyed my hair and gave me a small trim, gave me some great tips on growing out my hair, and talked to me about my eyebrows. She was so helpful in picking out the color I wanted and was pretty good at pampering me while she dyed it. While she was washing it she did a deep condition and talked to me about hair maintenance. It turned out super cute!! I had her put my hair up after because I was going to work out that night, and she put it up in a cute frenchbraid/ponytail style!! I was so impressed. She was so great so I decided to go back. I would definitely recommend to a friend and/or family member. Great, great service. Love theses guys, and I plan to stay with Alex for a while.

I had a terrible experience. I had very long hair. I went in for a weave and a trim. I, sadly, didnt notice until it was too late that the stylist was putting the ends of my hair in the foil. Ive NEVER had a stylist do that, thus, I didnt even consider that she would. When she took the foils out, it was apparent that my hair was terribly damaged. I asked her to give me a deep condition, as I could tell it was bad. She couldnt even comb the conditioner through my hair, although she charged me for the treatment. She and I were combing, puling gobs of burnt hair out of my head. She was very clearly inexperienced. She didnt even seem to know how to use the faucet while shampooing my hair. I would never go back to this location. I shouldnt have paid for the service, as she ruined my hair. She shouldnt have charged me. She knew what she had done. She should find a new career.

So the Salon is nice and the people are really nice. However if the haircut wasnt done right, being nice can only go so far. I had Sarah as a stylist who is very nice, but did not do the style my hair anywhere close to what I wanted. Lots of my friends were shocked, in the bad way, when they saw me. I had a very clear picture (front, back, and sides) of the haircut I wanted which was a layered choppy cut at eyebrow length for the fringe, sides falling slightly below ear lob, and nape being medium short. What I got was a cut way too short. Like in my opinion its not even close to what I showed her. Honestly I feel like my hair looks like a mushroom which I am now way too self conscious now every time I go outside. So at the end of the day, this is clearly not the salon for me. Maybe I just wear a wig or a beanie for the next few months, lol XD.

I had an absolute hair catastrophe with a hairstylist when she had turned my hair the most horrific color of gold, orange, and brassy colors. I was desperate to have my hair fixed before this coming Monday so I Google searched salons near me in Holladay and Lunatic Fringe popped up with really great ratings so I called to ask if they had any openings. They got me in two hours later ON A SATURDAY! Kaci K. Was the lucky stylist that had to correct my horrible mess... She is a hair goddess. Not only did she fix another stylists mess with ease, she has me hooked and I will be going back. I dont take my hair lightly and never am in habit of going to random salons but I could not have even wished for such a fantastic outcome. THANK YOU KACI.

I would not give this salon even one star but I had to, this is the worst salon I have ever been at. The team is mean, and they dont know what they are doing. If you want your hair to be ruined, and have a bad experience, then this salon is the one. Lunatic Fringe Salons are great in the other locations, but just this one in Holladay is so bad that I and my friends are surprised it has its name. The owner and the team are not professional at all. They dont care about how you feel, their prices are so high comparing to their bad services, the treatment is bad that they washed my friends hair with so cold water even she told them that it was cold, and the result is a ruined hair.

Im feeling pretty disappointed about my visit here today. I went in and saw a junior stylist thinking it wouldnt make a big difference in the quality of cut that I received. I was so incredibly wrong. I literally showed my stylist seven different pictures of the same cut that I wanted (for a drastic a line, asymmetrical cut) and I ended up with a blunt chopped bob from the 1920s. I still tipped and paid for my service because it would be rude not to but I did not feel that my stylist listened to me and I will not be going back to this location. Word to the wise, junior stylist means: doesnt know how to cut hair.

The staff is friendly, the salon is gorgeous, and the stylists are dynamite. One late Friday afternoon, I got my haircut by Marco. He asked about my wants and needs, asked to describe my vision, and then made a few suggestions based on the structure and growth patterns of my hair. After this consultation, the mop chopping started and HE NAILED IT. I love my haircut. Its exactly what I wanted. I really dig the professionalism of the salon. They take hair seriously and it really shows. Go see Marco. Go see any of the stylists here. This isnt just a haircut, its hair design.

I was so upset and embarrassed about how my hair had turned out at a previous salon. It was all sorts of weird colors and nothing I asked for. I called Lunatic Fringe Saturday morning after my friend got hers done there and loved it. They were able to get me in that same afternoon with Kaiti. She listened to exactly what I wanted, took great care of my hair and took it from bad to exactly what I have been wanting! I was almost in tears because of how happy I was and still am with it. Never going anywhere but here again! Thanks so Lunatic Fringe and especially Kaiti!!

Dudes, go see Sarah; she is amazing!!! She is the only person I let touch my hair. She does great with all modern styles and when I have business trips she helps me tone it down and look like a dapper gentlemen. I will often go in and be like "Do what you want" and I always end up looking good. She also taught me about product and how to use it better. Blew my mind. My hair is no longer caked in product and looks so natural. Just do it worth every penny. Plus the environment at Lunatic is so relaxing and classy. Makes you feel special.

Lunatic Fringe is the perfect place to go if you want to pay a lot of money to get your hair ruined. I have paid to have my wife go to Lunatic Fringe twice. Once when we were first married - which took two additional trips to fix the mess that happened our first trip. Then after giving it over three years I decided to surprise her again and send her to a nice salon. This trip was also subpar. Her hair was dyed the absolute wrong color. I would avoid Lunatic Fringe until they can find employees that are better at their jobs.
