ALI IS THE BEST!!! I first started going to her about 8 years ago, she was amazing then and she is AMAZING now!!! Im always IN LOVE with my hair when I have Ali do it! My hair is naturally an ugly dirty blonde, she takes it from that to AMAZING PLATINUMNESS! She absolutely knows her stuff! I cannot even express how fantastic she is! I went there today to have my regrowth done...after trying another stylist at a different salon about 10 weeks ago,(a friend recommended her) whom I was NOT impressed with AT ALL, I have to say, I always come back to Ali! Nobody comes close to the greatness and talent she has when it comes to hair! SHE IS SIMPLY AMAZING!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE HER SOOO MUCH!!! It might seem like she paid me to write this review lol But she is definitely THE BEST at what she does! I am always soo happy when I leave the salon and so happy to go back to her when I need my hair done all over again! I just cant go to anyone else, nobody else meets my standards, Ali exceeds them! As for the rest of the salon, it is fantastic too! A laid back feel, totally felt comfortable and professional at the same time, all the ladies who work there are sweethearts and Alis apprentice, Marissa, who was helping with my hair (its super long and I have lots of it) was very cute, witty, and fun! She ate some toner though... it was weird... lol jk. (thats an inside joke) Seriously such an amazing place to be with amazing ladies and ones who know what they are doing! I will always go to my Ali Girl! LOVE HER

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD. This salon does not guarantee their service or products and I will do everything I can so that others dont have to go through what happened to me. I booked my first appointment with Tricia so she could do a move up on my existing hair extensions. Shortly into my appointment, it was apparent she did not know how to do it even though she said she could. She suggested I get FOXI hair extensions and said they were well worth double the price. When I arrived for my second appointment the following week to have her put in my FOXI hair, they were the WRONG color !!! I then paid $100 to have her color my hair so they would match. Two weeks into wearing my new hair, they tangled like crazy and started to dread. This is absolutely unacceptable. I dont know why Tricia would recommend this hair because every single professional on FOXIs reviews has dreadful things to say about the quality of this hair. Tricia is very unprofessional thinks it is fine to start texting up a storm at 10:18pm. She refuses to fix her work and does not guarantee her products or service. DONT GO HERE

I had terrible service here. When I booked my appointment, I tried to tell them that I wanted a special color, but they wouldnt listen. On the day of, they pushed my appointment back by a couple hours and I communicated to them that I had to be out of there by a certain time. Once I was there, I was made to wait around for almost an hour. Then, my stylist and three other women that worked there were complaining about my hair to me and being incredibly rude and very harsh on my head. I did not make it out of there when I needed to either. My color and the cut were also not what I had wanted but because of how terrible they were with time I couldnt do anything about it and ended up paying way more than I expected for an end product that I was not happy about. They also left dye all around my hairline and in my scalp, which I had to fix myself or have them sandpaper my skin off. I chose to fix it myself at the risk of ANOTHER fee. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

I have been coming to High Life Salon since I moved to Utah. I just had my 3rd visit in 6 months. I absolutely LOVE the salon. They do such a great job and are so friendly and accommodating. Melinda is amazing. She really does everything she can and goes out of her way to make sure you get the best experience. She remembers you too; she recalled details about my life and style from months before! The atmosphere and location are really beautiful too. Youre right next to shopping and restaurants, free parking and a really cute pavilion where the store is located. The shop itself is an intimate and relaxed setting with great music and fun conversation. I am so happy with my cut and color and the post-visit help Melinda has given. She even emailed me with tips for styling and future color treatments. Above and beyond service! Its just as affordable as a large salon, but you get more personalized service and great products! If you arent going to High Life, you should be!

Melinda has been doing my hair for years and I love her salon, High Life. I am not a natural blonde and when my locks started to suffer from processing she did tons of research and came up with a new product to help keep my hair both blonde and healthy. The Brazilian Blowout. No one else in Utah offers this treatment, but it is an absolute miracle worker! Would your stylist go to additional training and offer a new service just to make sure you can have the hair you want? If not, start going to High Life!

Melinda has been cutting my hair for about 3-4 years. Ever since I found her I have not had a bad cut! Actually they are always excellent. She really listens to what I am looking for and offers suggestions to make the cut compliment me even more! Being a natural red head I dont get color treatments, but Melinda has a bachelors in chemistry and really understands the chemistry behing the chemicals and colors that she uses. I highly recommend Melinda Powell!
