A Customer

Our experience with SAC was very disappointing. On the positive note, the bidding process was easy and there were no surprise charges afterwards. The guys in their main crew were very professional, accommodating and for the most part seemed to do quality work, which we appreciated. Beyond that our experience was extremely frustrating. The sub-contractors that worked on our project were sub-par and no quality check of their work was performed by SAC, so we ended up having to repeatedly point out all the issues that needed to be fixed. There were significant delays throughout the project. It took five times longer than the contract stated. No apologies were offered for the delays or for the problems we experienced, nor was any concern expressed in regards to the prolonged exposure of construction materials to rain and snow. They were very insistent on getting the final payment before all the outstanding issues were fixed. They did not even have the basic courtesy to confirm if everything was completed to our satisfaction before they asked for the final payment. Communications were decent at the beginning of the project and then it got progressively worse and it took multiple follow ups to get responses. They do have a warranty, but issues take months to resolve. Based on our experience, we would not recommend SAC to anyone.

We recently completed a major remodel of our home. We had the kitchen, master bedroom, master bath and guest bath gutted and redone, all the flooring and painting in the house redone, and replaced the back porch and repaired the roof and foundation. Start to finish the remodel took 5 months. The original time estimate was 3 months. Some of the extended time was because of delays in availability of materials we picked, some of it was because of scheduling availability of tradesmen and some of it was because of changes we requested that deviated from our original request. The work was very clean and professional, the office staff were always very responsive, they always returned my calls, emails or texts within the same day. The cost of everything being done and the cost of materials was always available for us to review on co-construct, the program they use as their client interface. I have been pleased enough with their work that I recommended them to my parents when their roof developed a leak during the winter and caused significant water damage. And even during our final walk through for this project we were discussing future remodeling with Shane, that wed like to do down the road because we couldnt afford it right now.

I have had the wonderful opportunity of working for Shane Anderson Construction as their Plumber and i can honestly say that Shane is one of the best Contractors I have ever been around. Shane and his team are true professionals that still know how to have a good time while on the job. Shane Anderson Construction does the most customized work and will Taylor to your every need, from moving a bearing walls to moving a bathroom all the way across a home, they do it all. I recommend SAC to everyone i come across no matter how big or small the project is because they can really do it all.

Shane and his team did a fantastic job! We had them finish off the remainder of our house which meant adding a bedroom, bathroom, and storage closet (including all HVAC, plumbing, and electrical). We are very happy with the outcome of our basement. It was a complete remodel and it looks so much nicer! All of the different employees that came were very friendly as well. There were some times when it seemed that we had to manage the communication to the different workers that came more than we expected, but it all turned out just fine.
