Update: After expressing my issues over the phone and posting this review, Vinyl Industries quickly responded and said they would do anything required to make things whole. They came to my house acknowledged the poor installation, apologized, and sent a team to fix things the next day. The changes they made were quick and it was the best customer service wed seen from them yet. Our fence looks better than ever and we are happy with the end result. These fixes were not cheap on their end as the larger one required them to rip out an entire a 50 ft iron fence and re-install it correctly, the way it should have been installed in the first place. I was very impressed with the management team and the effort they put into making sure I was happy with the end result. I was told that the mistakes made on this job were an anomaly and that the majority of their customers have a much better experience. Judging by many of posts and recommendations found on their review sites, I can see how my issue was definitely out of the norm. I take back what I said previously, I would recommend vinyl industries. They did a great job and truly put the customer first. Thank you for all your hard work. ---Original Post--- Horrible customer service and poor quality installation. Service: We had multiple issues with getting someone scheduled to come out and survey/ bid our project, it took multiple calls just to get someone to come and then they showed up an hour late. It then took multiple calls and visits to the business to make a purchase, as the job was bid incorrectly, costing us an additional $500. Installation: The install date was a week later than promised. The post setters broke two sprinklers (which I was prepared for) which I promptly fixed, they then poured concrete over my newly repaired sprinklers. They installed a single post the incorrect color, so it clashes with the rest of the fence (near the front of our home, visible from the street). They set our back post too low on an expensive iron fence, and chose to dig a trench under the fence rather than raise the posts - causing a bigger problem as I have a $500 gate on that fence that does not open because it is stuck in a trench. And for no apparent reason they decided to hack off the top of my metal posts with a hack saw... Without asking.... And now the metal caps to not fit on the posts. Also while installing the fence in their newly dug trench they broke several tines below the bottom rail. Overall, from top to bottom, we had a horrible experience and would not recommend them to anyone.

I have not been asked or being paid for this review. So if you are interested in getting some privacy in your own yard to ease your mind and make you feel good again from harassing neighbors and protecting your loved ones (pets, children) please feel free to keep reading. January 2015 I got hold of VI to give me a bid on a privacy fence for the east and west side of my house. Trent Gavin showed up and was just about as professional and kind as I have ever seen. Strong statement there. Heres how it works: 1) Blue stakes (power, gas, and water) show up and marked your lines. 2) Jared gets hold of you to let you know whats happening with scheduling. 3) The guys show up and start on the post hole digging and marking it for the paneling in the next 5-7 business days. 4) After the cemented posts are in the boys are back and putting up the vinyl paneling and cleaning up is a breeze. 5) The man in charge (usually 2-3 workers) goes over everything that was done and how to use your gates and removal of the paneling if needed. Now if you are saying that this is not how you were treated, trust me and be patient and call and explain your issue and I know that VI will make it right. If youre asking yourself why such a positive review then let me tell you. Having owned my home for the past 23 years now I have become real close to my neighbors and life has been great. BUT there is always just that one person who cant stand the way you live and makes your life miserable. Well the installation in 2015 was helpful at first, and I thought thats all I needed to do, but I was wrong. So 2 years after the fact I just had VI come back and finish the front yard and the other side of my lot. These guys did such a fantastic job I cant begin to tell you how happy I am. Yes this was a long procedure, but it was well worth it. NO I am not posting any photos on here, what I am doing is telling you that if you want to see what has transpired with this installation get hold of VI and I will forward a video/pictures for you to see for yourself. Also you can always get hold of my experience through Trent and VI if needed. If you want to bid and exchange prices and try to save 2-3 hundred bucks feel free, but this is the way to go. I am a true blue happy customer. Thank you Vinyl Industries. Tracy

Ive had nothing but horrible experiences with this company. I hired them in February to fence my yard and I truly wish I had gone with someone else. The installers were several hours late, which creates a problem when someones waiting on their arrival so they can go to work themselves. They came back a week later to finish up and were even later that time. They couldnt finish the job that day because of how late they showed up in the first place so they had to come back the next day. They left a huge gaping hole under one side of the fence and we had to have someone else come out and rig a peice of vinyl under it, (it looks like crap of course). The fence is several inches off the ground down the entire side of my house, which my boxer has been able to crawl through and get it our once or twice. After a few weeks of looking at the RV gate I noticed that the sides did not appear equal. We went out an measured and not only were they two different sizes, they were also not the 12 feet we paid for, the gate was 11 feet. We then decided that we better measure our walk-thru gate, and sure enough, instead of 4 feet, we got 3 feet 4 inches. They had to come back out and dig up poles and move everything around. The installer lied about it too and said that while digging the auger slipped, which is funny because he hand dug those holes due to their location. The final straw for me was that my neighbor came and knocked on my door yesterday to let me know they hit one of her sprinkler lines. When I called the company I spoke with Robert. He basically said "too bad for you, were not responsible for what we break". Oh, and the installers leave their trash and cigarette butts all over your yard for you to clean up. $4000 and this is what you get. I would normally say you get what you pay for, but I certainly didnt this time. Do not get your fence through this company. They are priced very similar to other companies. Theyre not even the cheapest, but theyre certainly the lowest quality when it comes to craftsmanship and customer service. Im glad that the neighbor whos sprinkler they broke is the same one who received a quote from them. Shes decided to go elsewhere.
