Not pleased with Home Service at all. We had them over for an estimate and were not impressed so we went with someone else. The technician that HSE sent to our home wasnt able to give us an estimate and had to call his boss and relay the information to him and then the "boss" called back later with the estimate. I think this process has flaws since the person giving the estimate is not actually seeing the problem and has to rely on word of mouth from his technician. We thought we needed a new electric panel since ours was so old and had some wires double tapped since there was no room for more breakers. They said they could make room and that our panel should be fine (but they would need to check it) So we paid for a panel inspection and they said it was fine. While their solution was cheap, we got a second opinion and found that our breakers were not working as they should and were melting instead of tripping the breakers and the whole panel was wired incorrectly (20 amp wires going to 15 amp breakers!) And as we expected, the second electrician suggested replacing the panel since the melted wires could cause a fire...It makes me mad that Home Service said our panel was fine even after we PAID for an inspection! Needless to say we chose the second opinion electrician. Will not ever use Home Service or suggest to anyone.

I needed a new electrical outlet put into my wall. I was asked beforehand what color the other outlets in the room are- to make the whole room match. That impressed me. Home Service Electricians fit me into their schedule at short notice and when my project was finished, asked if anything else needed to be done. It turned out that my dad needed some help with another project. Bill diagnosed what was wrong and fixed the problem in the same visit. Our family wouldnt even consider using another company to get our electrical needs met. The work was done quickly and at a low price. Home Service Electricians know what theyre doing, are incredibly efficient, and do high quality work.

My wife and I had an electrical job we needed done in a timely, yet professional and meticulous manner. Calling around I was most impressed with Home Service Electricians knowledge of what needed to be done, things to consider, and potential timing. We hired HSE to come out and do the job. Bill was amazing. Very professional. I was comfortable having him in my house, which was very important to me and my wife. He was clean and tidy. He did a very solid job and our basement looks fantastic thanks to his expertise. When we have needs again we will use him for sure.

Bill has done several jobs for us and will do more. One was a fixer job that another electrician did because they said it would be "easier" to have done this way, I HATED it. Bill fixed it within about 15 minutes and now I am LOVING it. He also has done several other jobs and always cleans up well when he is done. He even offered to vacuum one time he left some insulation around, now that is service!

We appreciate the wonderful service. This electrician was on-task, helpful, knowledgeable, made offers to help and suggestions that made a difference to us, and put us at ease. He even helped my six-year-old with Down syndrome feel more comfortable about the sounds of the drill that were bothering him. Economical as well. Very pleased. Will use him again in a heartbeat.

Keep this guys number! Bill has been our familys electrician for years. He is the kind of guy that you want working in your home. Honest, fair, fast, happy and clean cut. He has always done great work for my family. I would recommend him to my grandma....infact, I already have.

Bill did a fantastic job on the electrical wiring for our generator if we ever need to hook it up. You cant even tell where he went from the outside of the house to the finished basement with the wiring. I would definitely recommend Bill. Two thumbs up!!!
