My wife and I recently relocated to Sandy into an older home, in need of some electrical updates. Dave Butler gave us a competitive bid and quickly had his crew on-site. Dave provided us a range of options with comparative pricing information and did not hesitate to recommend a more cost efficient way of accomplishing our project goals. The crew arrived on-site on-time and quickly got to work. The work was completed ahead of the time frame Dave indicated, allowing us to schedule our time appropriately. The crew was clean, polite and conscientious of leaving both a good product and a clean area. They were careful with our pets and even kept an eye on our puppy to make sure she did not get too cold outside (letting her in to warm up intermittently). Butler Electric was competitive in cost with other companies, but did not cut any corners (or surprise us with ‘extras’ such as wiring or boxes) and displayed a professional level of competency in the work performed. I would recommend Dave Butler and Butler Electric without reservation to my friends and family.

I used Butler Electric when we remodeled our kitchen. They were very professional and were upfront and honest about how long things would take and the price. I have had experiences in the past where people will tell you what you want to hear in terms of how much and how long a job will take. Dave was very up front from the beginning and actually completed the job sooner than I expected. He also solved some other problems we were having in our home (with a heating cable, etc.) and did some extra wiring to network our computers etc. We called them back a few months later to do a small job and they came the next day. It is so nice to have found a good electrician that I can trust! I recommend Butler Electric to all my neighbors and friends!

Good work done. No complaints by the quality of work. Arrived on time too. However, I was charged $300 for a 1-hour job. Very expensive. I figured it was going to be a more involved job so when they quoted me $200-300 I agreed. I didnt realize they would take a shortcut on one of the fixes and quickly complete the rest. Too expensive for my budget. $300/hour seemed excessive (two men were working for 1-hour so it would be $150/hr which is still too steep for me). I will say that Dave Butler was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Seems like a nice guy, good worker, just expensive.

I have used Butler Electric on many occasions and have always been pleased with the service offered and the price paid. Dave is very capable and his crew is nice. The work they have done for me has mostly been small jobs here and there such as: replacing lighting, fixing switches, hanging fans, and a number of other little jobs. I have also recommended Dave to many friends and have never heard a single negative thing from any of them. I would highly recommend Butler Electric!

I left a message with Butler on a Friday about a job I needed done right away. While two other companies in the area called me back within a half-hour, I didnt hear back from Butler until the following Tuesday, three days after the job had been completed. Rather than call these guys, contact Current Electrical Systems or Total Property Solutions - they were much more responsive to my needs.

I had a major electrical problem tha could have caused a fire and Dave came to the rescue! I was so happy with how quick and professional Butler Electric was, I would recommend them to anyone. I used a really bad electrician once and have been wary about hiring one ever since, but Butler electric was affordable and came quickly and I will definitely use them again.

We have needed to call Dave several times to do electrical work on our old home. We have been satisfied each time. We have needed everything from emergency work to just estimates for this and that. Dave and his team have called back or stopped by quickly and performed great work for our family. We will keep Butler Electric on our speed dial!

I would recommend Dave. He wired my basement and I wouldnt hesitate to use him for future work. He has a reasonable pricing, does great work and listens to what you want. My final bill was a little more than anticipated, but that is probably my fault for not verifying if there would be additional cost for installing the light fixtures.

The service provided was fantastic. It took them a few days to call me back though. Glad it wasnt an emergency. I would use them again if it was something I could schedule at least a couple weeks in advance.

After Anyhour came and charged us $1500 and still didnt fix the problem I called Butler. They came out, found the problem first thing and charged me $300. I will always use them.
