I have only known Robert for a couple years, but since the day I stepped foot in his salon, I refuse to go anywhere else for hair services. Robert is very professional, along with the environment. He always wants to know about my hair and I before anything else. He asks a lot of questions about how I want to wear my hair, which makes me confident Ill end up with a hairstyle I love. He gives great advice when Im looking for change, and explains his theories. Robert is "cutting-edge" & up-to-date with current fashion trends. Ive seen some of his work, and he has an extreme sense of creativity. Being a cosmetologist myself, he inspires me. I can relate and converse with him easily. Its clear he is very passionate about what he does. I learn something new every time I go there. He educates me on which specific products are good for my type of hair, and even how to style my hair on my own. He answers any questions I have, and doesnt make me feel uncomfortable to ask. The environment is relaxing. The stations are properly spaced out, so neither stylist is distracting the other. This lets me know that I have his full attention. I look forward to getting my hair done, because I always leave feeling better and satisfied. When Im there, Im treated as an individual, and not just another client. He exceeds any expectations, & I enjoy his presence as I am sure all of his other clients do as well.

We all, in some way, have been traumatized by a bad hairsylist at some point in our lifes. I know I have been! My hair hadnt been cut in about 7 years when I meet Robert. He has always done such a wonderful job on my hair, which is curly and hairstyists always cut it too short. Robert KNEW that if you cut curly hair you have to keep in mind that when it dries, it will curl up and be shorter. That was important to me! He knows what hes doing, is very skilled at what he does and Ive never heard anyone say they didnt like the style or the cut he gave them. Last weekend, I introduced my niece, my great-niece, my daughter-in-law and my friend, to Roberts services. What amazed ME was that EVERYONE was pleased with their style and their cut!! Usually ONE person out of that many would have something to say that was done wrong but not this time! I was amazed! and very happy! Whats more important was that, so were my family and friend!! They will drive 40 mins from now on to find him at Scherdiva Salon to get that "great" cut, highlights and style! Robert is only MY hairstylist for life, but I think hes found a few others, as well!! Thank you Robert! Fan of Scherdiva for LIFE!! Go Robert!!

At the recommendation of a friend and my own personal research I went to Scherdiva to have Kristin dye my hair. I had frequently colored my hair at home and decided I wanted to go blonde. A task I wasnt sure would be possible seeing as my hair is naturally brunette and I had already dyed it quite dark several times and the last few inches of my hair felt crispy. Thanks to Kristins complementary consultation we were able to discuss what I hoped for and make it happen shortly thereafter (after kindly quelling my fears and assuring me I could pull off blonde). Do not be swayed by Kristins young appearance, she is extremely knowledgeable and was able to lighten my hair wonderfully! She had told me it would take 2-3 visits to achieve the look I was going for and I was extremely impressed by the progress we made the first day. I loved how Kristin worked with me and gave great, honest advice. I cant wait to go back. Not only did I get great color, I got an amazing haircut as well (while keeping length) and received tons of compliments! The best part of the process was that my hair feels a million times softer even days later. They must have magic in their dye!

I was referred to Robert six years ago by a friend after I confessed to her that I was visiting a different Burlington area salon each time I needed a cut (with varying results). From the first cut, I was hooked. Robert is absolutely fantastic. He puts the client first and always takes care to ensure that Im 110% satisfied with my experience. Hes diligent, skilled, and a true artist. He generously sponsored me during my year as Miss Vermont 2011 and went above and beyond to make sure I was prepared for every appearance and for Miss America. Last week, I needed a last minute cut and scheduled with Kristen, another artist at Scherdiva. I was nervous to work with a different stylist, but Kristen was amazing as well! I cant say enough about the wonderful team atmosphere at Scherdiva and the great experiences Ive had over the last six years.

As Miss Vermont 2010, Robert at Scherdiva is my hair sponsor for the year- I am so luck yo have his services for free! I was going to Robert before I won the crown, and he is absolutely fantastic about cutting and styling my hair in a way that perfectly suits my personality and what I want to live with on a day to day basis. Robert is the only stylist Ive worked with who I completely trust with my hair style- I know he will enhance my look! I have also gone to Robert for eye brow and lash tinting, since my hair is very very light. They also look great- all of my friends love the definition my new brows have given to my face! If youre looking to try something new with your look- go see Robert!! He will help you look awesome, no matter how conservative or wild you want to be!

I wish I could rate it a 10!! I went to Robert after a friend recommended him and Im so glad I did!!! He fixed my hair from my previous cut. This is the place you go and never leave! I would drive hours if they ever relocate because no one is ever doing my hair except Robert in the future!!! And yes his scalp massage while washing your hair is so relaxing. Truly more of an experience. He also took the time to show me how he styled my hair and how I could do it at home. I never feel rushed and finally have found a place I feel like I get to really enjoy the whole process. Chris is also a huge sweetheart and I love talking to him while getting my hair done! A+++

Kristin Ploof is a miracle worker! She is extremely knowledgeable. She has an incredible knack for determining which styles will work best for her clients, both in terms of aesthetics and lifestyle. Her combination of patience and skill ensures that your haircut will be PERFECT. Even when I was thrilled with the outcome she continued to "tweak" pieces here and there until the cut was to her high standards. Ive received countless compliments on my hair and can say that without a doubt it is one of my best haircuts ever. Kristin is absolutely incredible, I cannot recommend her enough!

I recently went to Scherdiva this last Saturday. Ive always had haircut anxiety but I felt very confident in Roberts stylistic acumen. Firstly, I want to thank you Scherdiva Salon (Robert) ! I went there for a haircut on Saturday and I walked out with a style! Im so impressed by the professional, yet laid back, atmosphere. Roberts attention to detail really shined through. His skills coupled with his keen sense of style made me feel completely at ease. Once again, thanks for me making me look as great as I feel!!!
