Ive yet to eat at the main restaurant so this review is for the tavern side. Its really just bar food but good quality bar food thats a bit more creative as well. The wings (both garlic parm and buffalo) are delicious! The salads (Cesar and Asian chicken noodle) were a pleasant surprise and fresh. The curry goat dip with eggplant is something theyre known for which is tasty, although not something I crave per se. The steak sandwich and chicken pot pie were both just OK. Service is a bit slow but friendly. The atmosphere is great though, itd laid back but also fun for groups, whether youre a family with kids that want to hang out and still be social or coming with just friends for late night drinking.

Go here, period. I came up to Vermont by myself looking to get away from crazy city and found this little gem. The food is great, I had some of bistro chicken sandwich? Dont remember the actual name of it but I just remember that it was delicious. Thats NOT the best part though. The people are crazy friendly and what started out as dinner by myself at one of the outside tables turned in to a congregation of me and a bunch of the locals. It was such a good time. They were super warm and welcoming. To top it all off the waitress was as good as you could ask for. Like I said, go here; you wont regret it.

Our family has been enjoying the food, service and entertainment upstairs at the Tavern for the past three years. During this time they have consistently produced good food at very reasonable rices. Combine this with a very friendly staff and loyal local following, it is just a great place to go as a couple, with your kids or with all your friends and enjoy a great meal, generous drinks and have a great time. To top it off, on the Weekends, the owners add to the celebration by bringing in live bands. Try it once and you will be hooked. The DiMaggio Family, Stratton

we had dinner one rainy day recently, in the tavern, also known as the other woman, biggish bar area with some games scattered around, we had some of their different cocktails which were good but a little pricey for the size, we had the turkey schnitzel and a french dip bothwere great, bartender was also very pleasant and attentive, does seem to do a lot of local business which always seems to be a good sign!!!

Amy and crew recently catered our backyard Wedding with 215 people...we wanted a rustic Vermont menu with locally grown food. We got just that..and more. Numerous people came up to us and told us how different and delicious the food was than usual Wedding fare. We were thrilled to have Amy as our caterer and would easily recommend them for any catering event!

Ambiance nice, sat upstairs out on the patio. Drinks were tasty but weak. Ordered app of curry with goat cheese and eggplant fries, had to request more fries as there was much more dipping sauce than fries. Our meals were delicious....having a burger and my wife having the meatloaf. Dessert was yummy as we split a slice of Ring Ding cake....yum.

Came on spring break weekend. Whoosh! Finding a restaurant that didnt have a crazy wait time or required reservations was challenging but we finally found the tavern, the other woman. Sat at the bar and ordered our food there too. The bartender was very professional. The food was tasty. The atmosphere was comfortable.

This place is a bit hyped up for the food they serve. The place has alot of town love and history but its a bit disapointing and very pricy for what you get. The food is basically bar food very heavy. The bar seems fun and lively and would stop in for a drink and maybe wings but would never get food there again.

Tried to call to make a reservation and the person on the other end of the line says, "Were booked" and hangs up on me. Thats no way to treat patrons. Even if we couldnt make it for dinner, we probably would have stopped by later on and spent a couple hundred on drinks. Good way to lose business. Nice work.

The prices reflect its tourist-based location, but the food, ambience and service are splendid. As a celiac I also appreciated the gluten free options including gluten free burger buns (Udis).

Ive only eaten upstairs at the bar, and it was okay but not more. It started to get a little loud, and the service started to get a little slower, toward the end of the meal.
