I recently went there for a full recolor. I have really long hair. I went from dark brown to a nice blonde style. Well, or so i thought. First issue is before she colored she started combing my hair, which started making knots in it and pulling, it hurt!!! So i said u need to use a brish on my hair i never use combs. She says oh u should never use brushes it breaks the hair. (Like pulling my hair out in clumps is better? ) so after about 4 min of her "trying" to comb my long hair, she moved on to parting and seperating. She leaves for about 5 min. Assuming to mix the color. She comes back and starts the color. This took forever! I was in that chair i kid u not from 1:30 to 5:30, fine whatever. While she was colorong she kept getting color all over my face. My chin my eye brow my cheeks. It looked terrible.. Then its time for the hair dry machine thing where u sit under it. Sat there for about 5 min. Then its time to remove and wash out the color. Now...yea. she pulls one of my earings out and it lands in the drain..she doesnt even attempt to pull it out she has me do it with full on foil in my hair. Then she rinses well nope she left so much soap on the right side of my head i had to go back under the water..oh and did i mention the boiling hot water that was burning my scalp?? Now back to the combing process but wet. Hahah omg that was rich. Took forever then says oh im just gonna try drying while combing. Smh at this point. So as shes doing that im looking at my hair...its seemingly more orange ...my roots are soooo bright orange that it was shocking..so here i am freaking out i told her my roots are too orange. She says well our lighting isnt that great when ur in different light it will look different. I said no thats straight up orange. So she "darkened them at this point my scalp is burning from so much chemicals that its unbearable. Then she washes out again. And puts toner on...omg fire! My head was hirting so bad. Then she dried again. It still looks terrible. I have no words at this point except i have to pay out more money to get it fixed. Not happy.

Joli Hair Studio is unwelcoming and unprofessional. The employees talk behind their customers backs. The hair cut I got was horrible, my hair is completely uneven and the mistake is very visible. Also, the woman that cut my hair did not wash her hands after her smoke break and the stench of stale cigarettes lingered in my hair. I will never go there again and would never recommend anyone to go there, it is a waste of money and time.

I have recently been going to Joli to have my eyebrows waxed by Melanie. I recently changed where I usually wax. I met Melanie and she is fantastic, she has made my eyebrows look so much better than before! I highly recommend this salon, and in particular Melanie.

Every single time I have gone there, requesting a different stylist every time, I have gotten subpar service and my hair ruined.
