Worst haircut ever. I have a simple military haircut, its very difficult to mess up (at least this bad). The lady clearly was rushing through, taking absolutely no pride in her work. Not only was the process of getting the haircut painful and unpleasant, but I was left with uneven chop marks on the side of my head and in the back. I was cringing as she hacked away with the straight razor, clearly trying to finish as fast as possible to get on to the next cut. Similarly, her area, and the most of the barber shop is full of hair. I guess if someone wont take the time to clean up their area throughout the day, you cant expect to them to take time on your haircut. Its simply appalling to get that level of attention and service for $16. It may be that I had the only bad barber in the place, but I would not be willing to go back and find out, because there is clearly no quality control in the hiring process.

They butchered my hair. (Yes, first world problem, and it will grow back eventually but I was very specific about what I asked for and my wishes were blatantly ignored) Normally I love coming here. Its usually the perfect place for a quick trim. However, today when I asked for 1/4 inch to be taken off (straight cut across the bottom, no layers, super simple usually not a problem) and showed the person cutting my hair both with my fingers and on my hair itself how much I wanted taken off but in the end I lost closer to 2 1/2 inches, which is a huge loss for my hair. And an incredibly upsetting situation, as anyone with long hair who have had it unexpectedly shorn can attest to. I used to love it here, but I have a one strike youre out policy with my hair: it just takes too long to grow back when people get wild and crazy and take off way more than I ask.

I found the new place for my haircut. This is definitely an old school location and it shows. But most importantly, I got the haircut I was looking for, a military-style, high and tight but still hair on the top of my head. It is dirty like others have said with hair on the floor but it may be due to the number of customers and lack of time to maintain cleanliness. A little Vietnamese woman cut my hair and although she could hardly see above my head, she did a fantastic job. The barbershop is located in the breazeway by Wells Fargo in the far corner of the Bradlee Shopping Center. Plus, haircuts are cheap for todays standards. I have paid $30 elsewhere for a s****y cut, $15 for a great cut at this location. Im willing to bet youll be satisfied with the haircut; seating is limited, barbershop is small...but DEFINITELY worth the wait.

There is a string of barbers at this place, and everyone Ive been to -- with the exception of one -- is great. My favorite barbers are actually the two women towards the back of the shop; never had a bad haircut yet with either. In full disclosure, however, I do like my hair cut short with the clippers, so Im not looking for some fancy styling or anything--just a basic fade. I go out of my way to go here, and recommend it. It would get 5 stars if they had more room in the waiting area. As others have noted, it is particularly cramped.

Ive coming here for about two years and this is the ideal choice in the area for a mans haircut. I am not picky about my style, but I do like it short, so I just tell them I want a "regular haircut" every time I go, and they know exactly what to do. On top of that, you get a warm shave for the back of your neck (included with haircut). I have gotten haircuts from all of the staff and theyre all good. The price is competitive at $19 (Floyds 99 is $24). Hair Cuttery is right next door, but their skill level just doesnt compare.

Good old fashioned haircut. All the barbers are good, but give slightly different cuts. I tried them all and then went back to the one I liked best and have been seeing him regularly for10+ years. I was very upset when the shop closed unexpectedly, but I called my barbers cell phone and he told me it would be open again soon and it was. (The previous owner had passed away and the widow didnt want to deal with the shop.) Price has gone up to a whopping $17, still the least expensive place around, and by far the best value.

Great that this kind of Barber Shop still thrives. The day I went in for my haircut, there was a mix all ages and haircuts in progress. The barbers all seem to do just what their customers want from trimming up a longer cut to a high and tight. My barber did just what I asked, #1 on the sides and back and trim up the top. The hot lather neck shave is the best finishing touch of a quality haircut. Ive found my new barber shop!

The lady who cut my hair cut it significantly shorter than I asked, left my face covered with cut hair (and not just a little bit either), and used either dull tools or too much force because all of the edge work left my skin angry and torn up. Chose to come here rather than the Hair Cuttery. I regret that decision.

I live nearby and was looking for a place to get a haircut after returning from Iraq. I was pleased to go into what seemed like a time machine for my haircut! It was just like one of those home town barber shops you see in movies...old men swapping stories and all. And I got a good haircut to boot!

Its like your stepping back in time, its awesome. Very friendly barbers and a laid back atmosphere theres never really a long wait since they have a lot of barber on staff. I love the hot shave with the straight razor and how they clean up your eye brows. Prices are totally reasonable as well.

Great barber shop - if you want sterile, cookie cutter, IKEA esque experience then go to Super Cuts ... If you insist on taking your screaming kid here and then have to dictate every little clip and chop then do us all a favor and do the dang haircut yourself at home.

I basically get my head shaved all over which should not be that difficult. The woman here was not good and missed patches all over. Also, trimmed my beard (badly) without asking then charged $8 for it. Very cramped inside...customers trying to exit bump into you.

Went to chain in the same shopping plaza for a few years. Now I am a regular at the Bradlee Barber Shop. Gave up Cartoon cuts and have been taking my son there since he was 18 months old, hes now eight.

Good place to get a basic mens or boys haircut at a good price. Quick service too. As others have noted, it is cramped and the floor is covered with hair. Cash only, no credit cards or checks.
