Ive been coming here since I moved to the DC area in Jan 2015. Its near where I work, so the convenience is there, but that was just what brought me in. The staff is incredibly nice, the shop is kept clean, and the prices are unbeatable for the area. Their attention to detail is supreme, and keeps me coming back. They are open to new hair styles, so dont be afraid to ask them to do something specific. They also do beards, and straight razor edging as suggested by the name. The warm face towel before shaving is like a mini man spa. Once you go here, you wont want to go anywhere else. Ill be moving in a few months, and I already miss them.

I am very happy with my experience here. I was able to get my hair cut over the lunch hour with only a 5 minute wait. The barber did an excellent job, - listened to what I wanted and made recommendations based on what I had said. The hair cut finished up with a straight razor around my face line and on the back of the neck, which always feels great! Of note - they only accept CASH but do have an ATM (for $2.00 fee) at the counter. For reference - I get a standard "business" part.

I am always skeptical going into a place with great reviews (as you have more chance of being disappointed). However, Cut and Shave was awesome. I went in relatively close to closing time on a Sunday and it was no problem at all. My haircut was great and my stylist took a great deal of time doing a great cut. Ive had a cut at a salon before and the service here was better than the salon! Overall, a great place with very reasonable prices and super service.

Le is great. Iv been going to her for years now (since Ballston/VA square) and this review is long overdue. She is very kind and will certainly entertain whatever it is you ask for. Ive honestly never walked away with a bad haircut from Le. She takes her time and makes sure you have exactly what you want, and that you are happy with it. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great cut.

The girl who cut my hair was very nice and knew what she was doing, I think her name was Ashley. I think I can honestly say this is the best haircut Ive ever gotten. Its now a couple days later and I get happier with it each day. Ive never had a haircut done so precisely so that the hair is significantly shorter on one side of the part as the other. I will definitely be going back.

Fantastic place. Been twice now to see Suann. She does exactly what you ask and she does it very well. If youre tired of your stylist cutting off half your hair when you ask them not to, this is the place for you. Incredible value at $16 which includes a hot lather straight razor shave for your neck.

Consistent, quick, personal, and cheap for the area(~$16). Almost two years of hair cuts here and Ive never been let down. Tends to get a little busy around 5pm on Fridays, but always worth the 30min wait! The hot lather shave is a great traditional end to every cut. Military and police discounts.

I Get my haircut every two weeks , miss lee and kenny usaully take care of me , they top notch .very satisfied with my haircuts .miss lee. Is numero uno . Very professional i dont use no one else except kenny , they taken care of me for some time . When i leave this place i am clean cut .

This review is after the third cut that Ive received from Cut & Shave Barbershop. Theyve been consistently fantastic, and finish with a hot lather shave. Ive never had a hot lather shave before, and will never get a cut again without it. Its the best finishing touch of a quality haircut.

Good quality cut and shave for a great price. Be forewarned, there is a sweatshop vibe inside because theyve crammed as many possible chairs as possible and the walls are lined with chairs for waiting customers. Dont let that deter you though, I love this place and the staff are nice.

I always come here for a haircut and a beard trim. The staff is amazing here and the barbers are great and professional. The place is big enough and the decoration is cool. They also sell cigars and beer, its a man cave. I recommend to anyone, althoug prices are not that cheap

Absolutely love this place. They always do a great job on my hair, are very polite, and will get you in and out fairly quickly (assuming there isnt a line .... which there is). Keep in mind that they only accept cash. They do have an ATM in their waiting area, though.

Ive always had a minimal to no wait, every time Ive been here. The staff are nice and always do a great job with my haircut. The only downside is that they accept nothing but cash, although there is an ATM located right next to the front desk (has fees for withdrawals).

If you want your hair cut properly! This is the place. They do a great job on waxing too, but definitely not so well on shaving beard as I got multiple cuts on my face, a lot of irritation and when I took a closer look they missed a lot of spots.

Been here a few times now. It is hard to find a $16 haircut in the NOVA area, let alone done so well and finished with a hot shaving cream shave to the back of the neck and a hot towel to wipe it up. I cant recommend more.
