Under no circumstances should you use Perry Aire Services. I had called them for emergency service one night since the A/C vent near my attic was leaking. They came out the next time and said the condensation pipe was clogged. So after they charged me $368 to blow nitrogen through a pipe they wanted to charge me an additional $250 to clean the outdoor unit since the coils were a little dirty. I declined the $250 additional cleaning so they wrote "No call back warranty" on my invoice. They also wrote that the "drain now flows well". Its important to note that the services I paid for and signed for was to fix the leak coming from my attic/vent, WHATEVER the cause of that may be. Flash forward 1 day...the leak is back and worse than before. I call back Perry Aire and the technician says he can come back the next day FREE OF CHARGE. So now I have to stay home from work so they can fix an issue I had already paid $368 for them to fix. The technician claims that the pipe is not clogged and the pipes were in a different place than when he found it (him and the other technician were the only ones in the attic). He now claims that there are other underlying issues (pipes set up incorrectly when they were installed). Shouldnt he have caught these issues on his first visit? Now I have water damage on my ceiling since they told me the issue was resolved and I turned the A/C back on. Best part, now he wants to charge me a trip fee of $95 after he told me his visit would be for free. So I call the owner to complain. After looking at the reviews it appears he cares about his customers, so surely he will take care of me and make this right. I was deeply mistaken. He blamed me (24 years old 1st time homebuyer), for not having it serviced on before, he blamed me for the other underlying issues with the pipes, he blamed me for declining a $250 cleaning of the outdoor unit, etc. Even though his technicians were not upfront with me on day 1 and let me know what the real issue was, everything was my own fault. He also said I could "Do it myself" if I didnt like their service. The only thing positive was that he didnt charge me the $95 his tech tried to squeeze out of me. Never in my life have I felt more disrespected from a contractor and he is the owner! What happened to the customer is always right?? I guarantee, he is going to respond to this comment and defend his actions, but I do not want anyone to experience what I went through. Please learn from my mistake and avoid Perry Aire. **UPDATE** Now that you can see that the owner of Perry Aire has nothing better to do than research me on social media...heres whats incorrect about his response: 1) I called on Friday night, not Saturday morning 2) The only price I was given upfront was the $139 emergency service fee 3) The only thing I did not agree to pay was the $95 after they said the 2nd visit was free 4) The thing they put a "band aid" on has nothing to do with the $250 cleaning service for the outside unit that I declined 5) I never said the unit didnt have problems in past 9 years...I said since I owned the place in June 6) The air filter has been replaced 7) Never asked to fix everything for free...that seems unreasonable 8) Nothing in my review is false...I should be able to post a review about my service without getting calls from the owner saying "what goes around comes around" 9) I did not give you permission to release photos of the inside of my home Get your facts right Steve.

I had a new home built in Arlington, and Perry Aire did the installation of the geothermal system. Before I had them do the installation, I spent a lot of time on the phone with Steve getting information about the various options, and I was impressed with his knowledge of geothermal systems. They did the install and I am very happy with the work that they did. Steve took complete ownership of the entire HVAC system and has been onsite to tweak the system several times since we moved in (some times before I knew that there were any issues.) If you are thinking about geothermal in Arlington, Steve Perry is the guy. I also had recommended Perry Aire to a neighbor who was having issues with his 1980s era AC system in his home. His company with whom he had his annual maintenance contract, told him that he needed to replace part of his system to the tune of about $1,000.00. I told him to have Steve send over one of his guys to take a look (without even knowing about the previous estimate), and the Perry Aire guys came out and fixed the problem for $80 worth of parts and labor. Crazy. Steve and his team are now definitely our go to guys for all things HVAC related.

I cant say enough good things about Perry Aire Services. I undertook a renovation to our 1940s colonial home last year. I wanted to enclose our screened in porch and convert it into an interior media room using the existing concrete slab. This required tapping into our existing boiler and hvac unit. After contacting a number of heating and air conditioning companies and after a number of contractors told me it couldnt be done, I was lucky enough to meet Steve Perry. Steve is a master electrician and plumber and is extremely knowledgable and helpful. I hired his company to do both jobs and am very pleased with my results. Perry Aire did what others said or didnt want to do, and both jobs passed all of the Fairfax county inspections. Steves employees are very knowledgable, courteous, professional, and are excellent problem solvers, who are willing to go the extra mile for you. Thanks especially to John and Willy who did difficult duct work. I highly recommend Perry Aire Services for all types of heating, air conditioning or other plumbing work, especially if you have a difficult residential or commercial job.

Very much recommend Perry Aire for HVAC-related needs. Perry Aire has worked for us a few times. Each time we are very satisfied. The latest was to change out a waste and overflow on our main floor tub. It involved working on some confined pipes. The two techs that came out were thorough in assessing the problem. The estimate was very reasonable and the workmanship was high quality. They left everything clean as well.

After an initial frustrating experience due to a lack of communication from the company, Perry Aire made things right by doing a nice job installing some exterior lights and then unexpectedly comping the job because of the original problems. By going out of their way to make up for the initial poor service, I would recommend Nathan and his crew.
