I have had a service contract with Rush Companies on my heating and air conditioning units for almost 19 years. Over those years I did a lot of business with them. They installed both the central air conditioning and attic heat pump in my home. Did plumbing work for me on more than one occasion. I used to think they were a great company. However, the last time they did service on my air conditioning unit shortly afterwards it failed. They sent a service technician out who said a wire wasnt connected properly. The unit worked for about a week and failed again. The second time the technician said a wire was making improper contact. The unit failed again about a week later. The first technician explicitly stated, in writing on the service receipt, the problem was caused by the previous maintenance. When asked both technicians said I owed nothing. After the second failure I did a little research online and decided to look at the unit myself. It turned out there was an electrical connector that was loose. Once I tightened up the connector the problem went away. After that I got a bill from Rush for the second service call. I called them and asked to talk to someone. I was told someone would call but no one did. About a month later I got another invoice. I sent them a letter explaining the situation and asked for someone to contact me. No one did. Today I received another invoice from them. This time with a service charge. I am cancelling my service contract with Rush Companies and will no longer do business with them. I cant recommend them. I think they have some good technicians but their customer service is terrible.

I was referred to Rush Companies by my trusted HVAC company. I was skeptical, however, after reading the flurry of bad reviews but went ahead and scheduled the service. And I was pleasantly surprised - so much so that I felt obligated to write a positive review in order to help the overall rating. I scheduled them to diagnose two malfunctioning kitchen light fixtures. The technician showed up on time and was professional. He provided a diagnosis of the problem and was able to fix one of the fixtures that day, but had to order the part for the other which required a 2nd visit. The price paid for the 1st visit was about what I expected - 2 hours of charged labor and cost of the part. They called 2 business days later saying they had the part and could come out the following day to fix the other light fixture. Again, the technician (different technician) arrived on time and was professional. Unfortunately, the part was not successful in getting the fixture to work and this technician further diagnosed that the only option left is to replace the fixture. When I asked, "Ok, then how much do I owe you for today?" He replied with, "Nothing. We werent able to resolve the issue so theres no additional charge. Well probably just return the part back from where we ordered it. If you decided to replace the fixture, and we can come out to install for you." I was a bit surprised that the time spent (a little over an hour) was not charged, but happy nonetheless. Id probably hire this company again.

In my opinion this company is not worth doing business with. They got dispatched by my warranty company to fix and AC issue. They diagnosed the issue and ordered some parts. In two weeks or so they installed the part and it did not fix the issue. They had to order another part, which took another couple of weeks to schedule them to return. I called a few times to check on status and they told me they would call back with updates but they did not. Finally i got a call from someone there demanding $500 out of pocket pre-payment for them to show up and finish the job. I asked them why i need to pay 500 out of pocket and I got two stories from two different people- first for duct work, than for something else. I offered them a deposit and payment in full after completion but they did not agree because "their customers are not paying their bills" In my opinion, perhaps there is a reason for it. Enough is enough, after a month without AC in August, I called my warranty company and asked them to transfer the work to someone else.

I recently purchased a home and the realtor used this company to do some plumbing work on the house. They replaced the sink sprayer that had a hole - and used the cheapest one they could find - and then charged as if they put in a top-of-the-line sprayer. And to top it off, I cant even use the sprayer effectively. They also repaired a bathroom sink and had to come back THREE times due to their bringing the wrong sink each time. They charged the owner, who lived too far away to come to verify the work, an exorbitant amount for the work - about $300 for materials and over $625 for labor - charging for each time they went back due to their mistakes. Unless they reimburse the owner at least half of the labor charges, which is the correct thing to do, I maintain my rating for this company as the lowest possible. I do NOT recommend that anyone go with this company. The management is not professional, and is more interested in making a profit than in doing a good, honest job.

We were having major issues with the company that was assigned to us by our Home Warranty Company due to our Heating system not working during the cold Winter months. Rush was then assigned and they were a dream to work with. They called when they said they would, showed up (early), diagnosed the problem in minutes, ordered the right parts, and installed them in no time with all of the details of the work being thoroughly documented. I cannot say enough nice things about my experience with Rush. From the folks who called to schedule the appointment, to those who followed up, and especially Tony and his colleague who did the work, everything was beyond my expectations. This is how a company should be run! Ill be calling Rush again the next time I run into a jam.

These are the worst people you could work for out of nearly 2 months of work only got40 hours once which is ridiculous they have GPS on trucks that they go by and watching you every bit of the way and they also falsify time sheets havent been there2 month and seen guys quite they want you to be around but dont pay well in fact apprentices are coming in making almost as much as mechanics and some guys are not proficient in what they were doing and I can see why they only get an average2.5 rating I wouldnt recommend family or friends to this company if they are in a trade go elsewhere I worked as a temp and been happy you make more believe me I been there.

These guys are a bunch of idiots. First American Home Warrenty assigned them to fix my AC a month ago. After coming out, they had to call days later for me to take a picture of a part number that the technician didnt record. Then to find out two weeks later they didnt provide the model to the warranty company and once they finally came to install the part yesterday morning it was WRONG and they havent provided the correct info for the right part to be ordered. They are incompetent and so is the warranty company for contracting with them. I cant say enough bad things about this company.
