One star is even too much for this place. The owners wife, a slender 52" Asian lady, handles the front of house--worst decision ever. She does not know how to interact with her customers and I was appalled by her demeanor. You would think someone who is in the business of SERVICE would know have proper ettiequte and decorum. I dropped off several items resulting in a costly bill. This lady did not give me a chance to show her the stains that needed extra attention during cleaning assuring me they know what they are doing and I will be happy with their work. Needless to say, upon pick up two items remained behind for further cleaning: a long wool coat and dress--no problem, its understandable; sometimes you miss things. Second pick up: the dress was fine but there were clear and obvious stains on the coat. Now Im not an expert in dry cleaning but I do have an idea when a spot has been dealt with properly. There were three clear places that were not touched and were thus very noticeable. This lady argued with me in the most unexpected way imaginable!!! She went on and on about how they worked so hard on this but the stains just didnt want to come out and the material is just too stubborn for them to handle. I wish I was kidding when I say that she went on for a good 3 minutes of excuses and reasons while yelling and waving her arms around frantically. I tried to calm her down to remind her that I was paying for their service and that I in no way was doubting what she was saying but that I simply wanted it cleaned. I also asked her to lower her voice with me and to remember that I am her customer and do not appreciate her treatment--she said that her voice just goes up to yelling when shes talking. (This is unacceptable; if youre in service, you need to LEARN how to conduct yourself in your business.) Im really not upset that I spent $25 for this coat to be cleaned or that it wasnt cleaned right at all but of how her demeanor was with me. Frankly, if I didnt yell or give her attitude, then I do not feel I deserved that sort of treatment. UNACCEPTABLE. I recommend going to Newgate Organic Cleaners. They are very kind and diligent while also providing the same organic cleaning services. Their address is Newgate Shopping Center, 14118 Lee Hwy, Centreville, VA 20120.

I went to pick up my Wifes Dress that she had paid to have altered and pressed. It was to be ready on Thursday and when I showed up on Thursday at 6:30 PM, the dress was not ready. The alterations were done but they did not press it. They asked me to come back another day and I did not want to do that as it would be yet another trip and another 1/2 hour out of my day. So, the lady said she would press it now if I waited. I agreed and she walked around with the dress, up front, then to the middle section and then up front again. I watched her and she never pressed the dress. Then she comes back and says…. All done. I asked her if she pressed it and she said its not her job, but the dress is all done. She then threw her hands in the air and said "all done, were finished" I have had similar experiences with this cleaner when I took other clothes up there. They really do not seem to care about the customer if the regular "process" does not work. Their prices have gone up and their customer service has gone down. Just saying… Time to move to a different cleaners. I have had my last straw with them...

I have to dry clean my work clothes every shift so i thought i would give this place a try since its close. I came and asked about the price few days before and i was told it would be 2.50 but to remove stains its 5 dollars more. So when i brought in the shirt i was charged 5 dollars so i figured they would do a good job. When i picked it up this morning it still had stains everywhere.... im soooo disapointed. One star is not even enough. I have to dry clean every day and 5 dollars is too much for such a bad job. I rather drive a little more and go to other places where im always charged 2.00 dollars. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN.

Ive had a dress and a pair of pants altered here. The dress was $40 to take in the sides and they took four days. Pants to take in were $44 and it took five days. I personally feel like this is too long and a bit much for an ok job. The dress has somewhat of a small bubble under my chest where it wasnt altered very well and the pants do too on the legs where they didnt hem all the way up the thigh. I would say its decent work at best for the dress and a terrible job on the pants.

I needed my matron of honor gown altered. The work was substandard. Paid $60 and I shared it was not acceptable, I was told there was nothing that could be done. Beware of using for alterations. Threading was loose on the straps.
