I have known about Teddy Bear Day Care for over 19 years. My son attended the program for 9 years. He started as an infant and ended after completing the third grade (after care). It was by far the best experience ever. The staff are all early childhood professionals that really believe in educating the whole child. They are loving, nurturing, educated, and professional. As an organization, they have a very low tolerance for employees who do not meet their standard of quality. For example: they must attend 24 hours of annual staff development. Employees are expected to treat children, colleagues, and parents with respect. In fact, most staff have worked there for 5-15 years. As a program they use the High Scope curriculum. In addition, they offer enrichment opportunities and developmentally appropriate child care practices focusing on social emotional development and school readiness. I recommend the program to anyone. Ms. Missy, Ms. Theresa, Ms. Patty, and Ms. Jeanette are all great directors.You will be pleased! I was...and now my son is in his second year of college. D, Mason

My daughter was at this daycare for a few months and i actually cried FOR her when we had to take her out due to money issues. the staff here is amazing...loving, caring, friendly... just wonderful. i cant wait until i can put her back in, even if its just part time. my daughter actually asked EVERY morning if she got to go to school that day and see her nice ladies [teachers] and play with all her friends...even on the weekends. i wish all daycares were as great as this one... this was my daughters first time in daycare... im terrified the next experience we have with daycare will be no where near the experiences we have had here. i hope we are able to get her back into Teddy Bear soon...
