Very disappointed in the service here. My name is Joseph Marshall(Im using my brothers account because I do not have a google account). I brought my 2004 Ford Mustang Mach 1 in just to have the coolant crossover tube to be resealed and have the o-rings replaced because it was smoking from there when I brought it in and to have an inspection done. They took it upon themselves to do a diagnostic($95 to do) even though I said I would only like to have my coolant crossover tube repaired. I had the car taken in on a Monday and they called on a Thursday to tell me the problems they found and they gave me a long list of problems and recommendations totaling to almost $3,000. They said it failed inspection for the battery hold down and sway bar link kits. I told them to only fix the coolant crossover tube and battery hold down. I told them I wouldnt be able to pick the car up until Saturday and they said thats no problem itll be ready for me. I came in Saturday only to be told that it wasnt done yet because the mechanic had taken a couple days off with no call about my vehicle not being finished. However, Im thankful I did come in because I noticed my paint had been messed up on the bottom edge of the body under the passenger side door(I brought it in with no problems with my paint at all). They told me they would look at it. I was called the following Tuesday and told that they couldnt fix the battery hold down(I was dumbfounded that they told me they can fix it then realized 3 days after they told me they would have it done), then they said there was a problem with my battery tray and said it would be another $150 for a new tray and to repair(I declined the work to be done). They also told me that my paint was just "peeling" and hadnt been primed(again I was blown away that they said it was just peeling because it hadnt been primed). This is the original paint job that it came out of the factory with so I have a really hard time believing that Ford didnt prime the paint. They did do a touch up job to fix the spot for free, but at this point I had already had enough. I paid them for the diagnostic I didnt ask for ($95), inspection ($16), and to repair my coolant crossover tube ($150) so the total was about $280 including the tax. The total price for parts was $7 so I paid ton for labor. I brought the car home and it died on me 4 times while driving and my engine was shaking very roughly the 2-3 miles. As I pulled into my driveway and turned the car off, I opened the hood to look at the engine because of how rough it was running for the last 2-3 miles and it was smoking from a radiator hose(it wasnt having this problem before I brought it in, only smoking from the coolant crossover tube). This has been the worst experience of service Ive ever had in my life.

I was in town for business and needed an oil change. After reading several reviews of different shops, I chose Professional Auto Diagnostics. I called and made and appointment and gave Michael the year and make of my car. When I arrived, I pulled my owners manual and was prepared to make sure he knew what kind of oil my car required. I walked into the lobby and he immediately asked, Kathi?". Before I could say anything beyond, yes, he told me what kind of oil my car required and gave me two choices, based on the mileage I drove and the frequency I usually had it changed. My owners manual never saw the light of day. I asked him to check the tires; did they need rotation? When the car was finished, the bill was exactly what he quoted, with the recommendation that the tires be rotated the next time I got my oil changed. Listening to conversations he had with other customers, it was clear he had a network of contractors in the area. I was in need of help getting a house ready to put on the market. He generously gave me a long list of contractors he uses. Ive called most of them and have started the work I needed. I wish his business was located up in northern VA. I would be one of his biggest fans!

These guys do a great job. I have had my car serviced here about 4 times and have never had one problem. The first time I had my vehicle serviced here, I had a wheel hub replaced and since then my alignment has been much smoother on my car. I have also had several oil changes and a wheel balancing and alignment completed. These guys are honest and really try to provide the best service possible. Jack, the service manager, always provides good customer service and the owner, Mike is great. I am glad to have found a good auto shop. Thanks guys! I dont need to go anywhere else to have my vehicle serviced. The team recently worked on my car again before a few Summer trips and it was great to know that my oil was changed and tires were rotated. They also did an inspection for me. All done in one place and for a good price. My car did good on my first trip and now I am on to my second. Thanks Mike and Jack!

My wife and I have been bringing both of our vehicles to Professional Diagnostics ever since we moved to the peninsula which is going back about 6 years now. While vehicle repairs are never fun, the owner and staff have always made it a good experience. My current vehicle has just gotten to the age where some items are starting to fail on it. In the last month Ive brought it by twice for different issues. All items were fixed quickly. I was kept in the loop as to how much it would cost, how long it would take and was also told of other issues that were not in need of immediate repair but that I should keep an eye on going forward. From the looks of the other reviews it looks like they take care of all of their customers this way which you dont see that enough these days. Thanks again for taking care of us!

Mike was a very great respectful owner i came to him to get new all 6 spark plugs replaced in my car then he had come back to me and told me there was a warranty extended on my car for the exact reason i came to him for and told me i could take my car to honda and get them replaced for free though i had to pay for the labor on my car he had saved me about $100 in the end he had set me up with honda so i didnt have to do anything besides show up they had already been expecting me no other mechanic would have done that for a customer they deffinitly are not like other places where they get you to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars. I will deffinitly be taking my car back there for any of my car problems in the future and would absolutely reccomend this auto shop to anyone that needs work done on their car

If you are Military go here for auto repair they gave me a 10% discount. The over sense of the place was that these guys were honest and trust worthy. Ive been to a couple of other auto repair places in the area and they just want to jack up your bill. NOT THESE GUYS they focused on what i told them to fix and did not pressure me into fixing anything else that would sky rocket my bill. The hourly rate is also lower than most of the surrounding auto repair shops. I even took my ford ranger in because it was squeaking and the owner started pulling out tools to see if he could fix it on the spot, and he did not charge me anything. I would defiantly recommend this business to anyone, and have.
