Usually am not a fan of posting reviews as business can be tending towards trying to get better and bad reviews usually bring them down. This particular daycare was excellent till two years back and has been going down ever since. The last few months since Thanksgiving has been really bad. There has been major issues with the management (director) and the teachers bringing down the overall morale of the daycare. My kid is not too happy with his class as the teacher turn over ratio has been also high. He doesnt seem to get the same teachers and his class is usually not planned well. The activities in the class has come down as the number of kids in the class are going up. Most days due to lack of teachers both the center director and assistant directors are nowadays in the classrooms. This was not the case before. Most of the teachers advertised in the kindercare website have already left. The teachers are shuffled so much in between the classes that they look tired towards the end of the day. Lately they have brought back a lot of the initiatives that was there earlier but i feel its just to show that they are improving. The only thing good about them is the rate of tuition but thats definitely not worth sticking around with. I have already moved my son to another place. There are risks to changing teachers so much in my sons case I am scared that maybe the teacher might miss his allergies or something because the teacher is new. The inspection for this place has been done last year and nothing so far. The inspection report that was earlier posted near the number key at the entrance has been moved behind a door. :) Its kind of hiding there. Anyways just didnt want parents to get into trouble with this place.

Would not recommend this center at all. Our experience was with the 4 year old room, the teachers there could not care less about the children. The older of the two was outright mean. She absolutely refused to ever speak to my husband and would rarely acknowledge me when dropping him off in the morning. It came to a head when I asked her outright how he did for the school day (normal for me, I asked every day) and she flipped her hands at me and said he was horrible. I toured the baby room in prep for our second child during my sons time at this center and it felt institutionalized. We were VERY lucky to get a spot at the Issac Newton Sq. center, which is an amazing school. Please avoid the Old Reston Center if you can.

If you are a paying customer stay away. I would give it 2 stars for attention to our child, but 0 stars in customer service. Like their policy states, I paid for tuition the week prior and was never an issue until our last day. A month goes by and I recd a call from the corporate office that I owed 2 full weeks of tuition. Never a peep from the center, until I confronted them, and have an email where they partially accept some of the fault. Nevertheless, they refused to clear up the matter, and now 4 months later I have been put into collections while I am waiting to hear from the Attorney General for both OR and VA. Such a hot mess. Dont compromise yourself because of expensive daycare options, you get what you pay for!

This place is under new management and I have never met a friendlier group of people than the staff there. My daughter loves it there which says alot. They take the time to help her with her homework as well as working with her to help build people skills. If you are considering becoming part of the KinderCare Family and are still unsure do yourself a favor. Stop by for a tour of their place and let them answer any questions you might have. They will be happy to help.

So far so good, my wife and I just started using this care facility. The onboarding process has been really good. They have been more than helpful to us as we help prepare our daughter to start attending the day care. They have very detailed sheets on what your child does every day and the care takers are very friendly. I will update as we continue to use the service but so far very good.

Extremely dissatisfied with various aspects of the center such as teachers and billing. Very unhelpful and unclear procedures.
