We have been at Bundle of Joy on Cottage Street for almost 2 years now. I do love the teachers that they hire. They have been very professional and caring; most of the teacher assistants have been very nice as well; although you can tell some arent so nice when youre not around by the way they treat other kids when their parents are not around. You will have those probably almost anywhere. Overall, I am pleased with the teachers and that is probably the main reason I stuck around for 2 years. After attending another preschool in the area, I can safely compare and say that their curriculum is way behind the others. My kid has learned so much in the 1.5 months at the new preschool during his entire year here. I have two issues here. My son gets sick a lot here...and I mean a lot. As soon as hes recovering, hes back to being sick...and that runs from October through March/April. My other issue is with the director there. She literally takes offense to anything you say and make everything sound like its your fault. We called one day to tell her that our child has a communicable illness (as they are supposed to let the other parents know if there are any communicable illnesses in the classroom). We simply called to inform her that. The next thing I know she is telling me that there is no way that my child got it from the kids at BOJ. First of all, how would she know?? Second, we didnt even mention anything about our child getting the sickness from BOJ. We just simply told her that my child has this illness so she can inform the other parents. A good director would just simply thank us for letting her know and for keeping our kid at home to keep the illness from spreading. Not her! There were several annoyances that I have with the director there and she is the main reason we are switching to a new daycare. From someone so high up as to be labeled director, I just expected someone much more professional. She doesnt seem to really care what goes on with your child, but rather that BOJ makes money. I hope that someone from BOJ reads this and really evaluate her. I give her credit for hiring good teachers, but she herself needs to be evaluated! I honestly can say in my entire life, I have never dealt with someone so .....I cant even think of a word for her. We are happy with the director at the new daycare and glad to say we dont have to deal with someone like her again. Overall, there are so many quality daycare and preschools in the area, that I cant really recommend this place.

We have been with Bundle of Joy (BOJ) for 1 year now. We had visited several daycares before visiting BOJ and when we arrived, there was such a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere. As with the other daycares, we arrived unannounced. The director, Mrs. Forbes gave us a personal tour and the children were happily playing and learning. Even the teachers seem to enjoy what they do and that always matters! I love that all the teachers are required to have some type of formal education, if not a degree. We also appreciate that there has not been a lot of turnover with the staff and/or leadership. Our daughter loves being at BOJ and we feel it is a worthy investment given the care, guidance and instruction our child has received. If you are seeking a childcare center that harbors a loving environment while fostering your child’s social and academic skills, then visit BOJ!

Weve just started at Bundle of Joy, but so far weve been very impressed with the teachers! They appear to be very caring and organized. The kids have seemed to enjoy their short time at the school so far!
