My 5 year old granddaughter went to Bundle of Joy Centerville for over a year. We recently had to remove her due to an incident that happened to her while at Bundle of Joy. She was kissed on the mouth by a little boy in her school and also asked to pull her pants down for him to kiss her there as well. Obviously concerned, we went to the school the next morning after learning of this assault, we were told by Kelly that this "is very common and happens all the time", basically, not a big deal. Common sense would say otherwise, however, we went the extra step and contacted her pediatrician who told us that is NOT common for that age group. I also read extensively online about this subject for this age group and again, NOT NORMAL. Frustrated that Kelly refused to even take this seriously, we thought removing her was the best thing to do. Astonishingly my daughter received a call from CPS this morning stating that Kelly filed a report that my granddaughter had previously been molested and an investigation needed to take place. WHAT??!! Once explained to the CPS worker what actually happened, the case was closed. I later went to pick up all of my granddaughters belongings at Bundle of Joy, and was met at the outside door by Kelly, who proceeded to tell me that she had no idea what I was talking about with regards to CPS, even though CPS gave her name as the one that called them, and handed me our belongings and then shut the door in my face and locked it. She apparently not only condones this type of behavior but also lies. So, I suppose the moral of the story is, according to Kelly, it is common to have your daughters/granddaughters be asked to pull their pants down and be kissed down there by little boys at Bundle of Joy...no big deal.

Our son is 2.5 years old and has been attending Bundle of Joy since he was 12 weeks old. We decided on Bundle of Joy primary because there was less teacher turnover than other places we looked; a welcoming and lively energy; was reasonably priced; and was conveniently located. We continue to be satisfied with our choice. BOJ values outside play and movement, which are very important to our active son, and he is able to play outside for several hours each day. He has also learned his numbers, letters, shapes, and colors. Perhaps most importantly, he enjoys his time there and comes home happy, sweaty, and calm. The one instance that I was unhappy with something, we were able to reach an agreement that met both our needs. I have been very impressed with Lynn and Nikki, who welcome every parent and child by name, and who I find to be refreshing, funny, and genuinely interested in engaging with all of the BOJ families. We loved the infant room, and while we hated leaving Mrs. Priscilla and Brooke, we have been happy with the toddler and 2 year old rooms as well. Choosing a day care can be overwhelming, and is a largely personal choice, but we have been pleased with the care our son receives at BOJ for the reasons listed above and plan to enroll our daughter there when I return to work.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Bundle of Joy. Everyone has been so loving to our kids, and have made it a place where they look forward to going everyday. I appreciate how the teachers and staff takes time to understand our children on an individual level and support their needs. Anytime we have had any concerns, the staff has been prompt to address any of our them. You can immediately tell that all the wonderful teachers and staff at Bundle of Joy, that this is not only their jobs, but they truly love and care for our children. As full time working parents, this is our childrens second home and second family. Knowing that they are in great hands and in a nurturing environment is extremely comforting when we cant be there with them.

I currently have two little ones at Bundle of Joy Goochland. After starting at a Church day care (they shut down - but we loved) and then moving to a local daycare company (that had constant turnover), we landed on BOJ. This has been the best of both worlds! Individual feel that we wanted with the stability of a company that has been doing this for 40 years. The most impressive thing I have seen is the lack of turnover of staff. Its amazing how many people have been there for years and a former employee from 10 years ago, recommended the place. I could not imagine being anywhere else.

I have two children enrolled at Bundle of Joy in Centerville. My youngest child is in the toddler class and the teachers are wonderful with him! He hates to leave and is anxious for me to drop him off. They treat him with so much love! My oldest is in the after-school program and Bundle of Joy gets him started on his homework and allows him to get a break from school before heading home. Both classes offer snacks and my youngest receives a nutritious lunch when he is there all day! I highly recommend the staff and center for your child care needs!

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with this company not only as a teacher and administrator but also as a parent. Ive enjoyed my time with the staff and admin at this location. They are very nice, professional, and they provide a fun and caring environment for the children. My 2 children have been adjusting well to their new classrooms and love their teachers and classmates. I highly recommend this child development center to anyone looking for great care for their children.

My daughter has been going here for 2 years and she has a blast everyday. The staff is very caring and provides great structure and routine for my daughter. They have a wide variety of activities and keep things interesting for the kids. Some kids when they get dropped off at daycare may be upset and cry when the parents leave, but my daughter actually will cry and say she wants to go to school if I tell her she has to stay home! If you are looking for a great daycare....this is your place!

We love Bundle of Joy (Goochland)! They have taken amazing care of our daughter since she was 11 months old. The teachers love on the kids like their own and the environment is welcoming and has a tight-knit family atmosphere. They help the kiddos make crafts for every holiday and have an amazing app, Precious Status, where you can keep track of what your child is doing throughout the day. Highly recommend them, truly a wonderful place for kids to grow & learn!

Bundle of Joy is where my son and my step son grew up. Kelley conducted my original tour of the school. It was a great place for my children to be able to learn the necessary social skills as well as the academic skills for school and surviving in life. They became part of my extended family. I keep in touch with the past teachers that both of my sons had. I cant imagine finding a better school to help your child grow and develop.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Bundle of Joy in Goochland. Our daughter started going there a year and a half ago and not only has she learned so much but she has come out of her shell. The teachers are great, the classroom/learning style is wonderful and all of the staff have been a joy. If you are looking for a preschool, I would highly recommend them.
