My daughter danced at Golden Slippers for 12 years. After her first year of dance at another studio, we started shopping for a different studio. Golden Slippers was the first studio after MANY stops one day that not only was open, but also had a friendly face willing to sit down with my daughter and I to find a class that would suit our schedule. After our first year with the studio, I offered my daughter the opportunity to change studios and she adamantly refused. She loved the studio and the teachers, so we stuck around. I am so happy that we did. The teachers are phenomenal, the office staff is extraordinary and the owner has a fantastic vision of what she wants in her yearly recitals. If you are looking for a dance studio that has versatility in location and class availability, qualified teachers that are able to teach the foundations of technique as well as foster a love of dance, and an unparalleled end of year recital, look no further, Golden Slippers is home.

My daughter has been taking dance at Golden Slippers since she was 3. She is now 12 years old and I absolutely love everything about Golden Slippers. There are so many classes to choice from, from beginner to advance levels and different styles to accommodate any genre. The instructors at Golden Slippers are phenomenal! They are so talented and really strive to bring the best out of all students in a nurturing and learning environment. The recitals can be compared to a Broadway show! The lights, music,sets and costumes will blow anyone away. I cant wait for the recital each year to watch the growth of all the students. You can tell by their expressions how they love it! Susan Browney Dillon the owner of Golden Slippers is so passionate about her studio and their students. You cant go wrong if you choose Golden Slippers!!!

Being that I took from Golden Slippers when I was younger, I knew that when my hubby and I moved back to the area, I wanted my daughter to go as well. I was more than pleasantly surprised at how this studio had grown, yet still held that "family feel". The teachers are amazing as they are professional and patient. The recital at the end of the year at Chrysler Hall showcases the children’s yearlong hard work. Being such a beautiful venue, it also makes them feel like a “star”. I highly recommend Golden Slippers as a fun professional place for your child to learn the wonderful art of dance.

My 3 daughters have attended Golden Slippers for 8 years. It is our other family. The recital is fabulous. Its just like a Broadway show with props and a theme. The instructors, desk staff, and owner are knowledgeable and helpful. There are a wide range of classes to take from Hip Hop to Ballet to Modern and Contemporary. The prices for tuition can NOT be beat in this area. The costumes for the recital are GORGEOUS! Every detail is taken care of. Try Golden Slippers. You wont be disappointed. Its my childrens home away from home 4 days a week..

This is the best dance school. The teachers are so good with the children. The smiles on their faces prove it. Golden Slippers, also, has the best recital at the end of the year. It is a Broadway style show and it is fabulous every year. The adult classes are also wonderful. You could not pick a better dance school!!!

If you are looking for a place for your children to play and be happy - this is the school for you. If you are looking for a serious ballet school, you should go somewhere else. We were happy there when our children were small but now that they are older, we have moved to another dance studio for more serious training.
