I discovered Rachel Nails in August, 2016. I came to Virginia Beach to visit my daughter & family. My daughter & I got matching tattoos & I decided to go further & get my nails & toes done. Shes right around the corner from where I was so I just popped in. I was extremely impressed by their services offered & how friendly they all were there. I promised Rachel when I came back Id be back in so here I am visiting again & I just popped in again today for a pedicure & to have my nails filled. I was greeted with a hug from Rachel when I walked in which was awesome. I had the fire pedicure which both Rachel & Tan did and then Tan did my nails for me. Rachel also waxed my face for me while I was there. They are both amazing people...very professional yet very friendly. I wish I could take them back to Vermont with me. Their work is truly awesome and I recommend anyone to just "pop in". I again promised to come back next time Im down here & I received hugs from both of them when I left. I promise you, you wont be sorry you stopped in!

The first time I was satisfied leading me to return a few weeks later. Big mistake. Rachel shouldve been a sales woman. Instead of seeing to it that my nails were properly attended to she made excuses. She charged me for something I told her in the beginning I did not want (powder gel instead of acrylic knowing I wouldnt be able to tell the difference). Out of 10 nails 9 were left bleeding from her buffing my skin. She made excused telling me she was being gentile. I asked her to not make my nails look too thick she ignored that as well. By the second day after leaving her shop my nails were completed lifted. She later told me that was natural. I demanded they be fixed or that I receive a refund. In her attempt to fix them she said "your nails lifted because your allergic to acrylic" once she saw the scabs on my fingers that quickly changed to "oh I remember now. You were sensitive and wouldnt let me buff so they lifted." One week later my nails have completely lifted again. Two visits in 2 days I will NEVER go back to that shop.

Worst full set manicure Ive ever gotten. First, the tips werent fully glued to my entire nail, so the nails are raising up and when I asked Rachel about it because I didnt like the way it looked she said, "dont worry Ill fix it". When she asked how long I wanted them she refused to cut the nails any shorter because she swore she would file them down to the exact length I wanted. The nails are extremely misshaped when I wanted rounded nails without a point. Theyre still pointy and leaning to a side. When I asked her to fix them she said, "theyre fine". When we asked what color I asked if she could paint a blue flower on one of them and she said, "no", even though before she started I asked if she could do designs. My nails look like theyre going to peel off, theyre pointy, leaning, and disgusting looking. I will NEVER go back there. Theres only two people that work there and she rushed through my nails because too many people were coming in. DO NOT GO!!!!

Rachel quickly becomes Family. She communicates in English and cares for her customers and their families. My husband had his FIRST-EVER Pedicure for his birthday. He WILL BE Back even though he told me before that he would NEVER get a pedicure to his ugly feet. Well, they are not ugly now AND he truly enjoyed the chair massage. I posted a pic of my natural manicure with the white tip polish. My daughter also gets her acrylic nails and a white tip painted pedicure. I love my pedicures too. After regular pedicures, I no longer have ingrown toenails.

Went into Raven Nails this morning to get my daughter a pedicure. The lady did a good job....the only problem is that I watched her remove her "tool" kit from under the counter,gave my daughter the pedicure, and proceeded to return the " tools" back under the counter WITHOUT cleaning them!! That is VERY UNHYGENIC!! I thought that cleaning between customers was common sense or at least good practice. Thats the only complaint I have with this establishment....unhygenic practices.

Rachel was great and very personable, the rest of the staff, not so much. They kept passing my daughter off like she wasnt important even though we paid full adult price for her mani and pedi too. They made us both bleed on our manicures and the paint on my daughters nails and toes was bubbled and began pealing almost immediately. My pedi paint was full of small bubbles and my finger nail paint also started peeling off by that evening. We wont be going back.

this place is very rude they sit an talk in other langauge u cant help but feel there talking bout you its unperfesional there a metaly retarded kids that runs around there i dont think thats safe for him the boss always has her children at work not safe or bussiness like an there work is crappy well at least the main ladies work is and i herd there was a hepititis out break so i wont be going back that place needs to be shut down.

I had the pleasure of being treated by Tan! He was so light handed and paid very close attention to detail. He didnt miss a single bit of cutical. He was very critical of his own work, and I can honestly say this was one of my best experiences at a nail salon. Rachel was full of energy and just made the visit all around a good time. I will GLADLY be returning. Very sweet people, definitely stop by when you get the chance!

Ive never left here feeling anything but wonderful. Rachel and her husband always make me feel very welcomed and ALWAYS do such a great job! I come every two-three weeks and enjoy my time here at every visit. They are very friendly and make sure you not only feel welcomed, but also leave fully satisfied with the service you asked for. I highly recommend the chellac manicures and pedicures! They wont disappoint!

I drive 2+ hours to see Rachel. She gives the best pedicure service Ive ever had.! She is friendly professional and always happy! I highly recommend you try this location. They do a great job and place is bright inviting and clean. The pedicures here last so much longer than other places! I have rough feet and after she treats them they are soft for WEEKS not just days at some of the other places Ive been.
