Ive never done a rate and review but had to for this Barbershop. Just left from Parlor Barbershop. I was late for my appointment I scheduled, but they was able to get me in. The environment is nice and clean and chilled. Everyone greets you as soon as you walk in the door. The chairs from right to left all hair styles, and all looking clean and crisp. While I was waiting a guy walked in showed a style he wanted and the Barber looked at it and said I gotcha. Whatever the look was online I think seeing it in person look better than the photo. Thank you Mr. Fred for the fresh look. I showed him what I wanted and it also came out better than the picture. Definitely found my new home to get a fresh cut. Will have to spread the word about this shop. Atleast once you have to stop by this shop. Its definitely worth it .

I got my hair cut by Justin, who was a cool guy. He was willing to give me tips on different techniques to keep hair from going flat throughout the day. I honestly came in expecting a 40 dollar base charge for what I got, but man was I surprised by how much cheaper the cut was. There is a HUGE difference between the quality you get from Parlor, and what you get from a chain barbershop like Great Clips. The guys at Parlor know what theyre doing, and take their time. The amount of detail Justin put in was insane. Ill definitely be going here from now on. Word of advice: book an appointment. These guys can get crazy busy.

Best barber shop around. They take their time to make sure your haircut is the best possible, and so that takes time. If you take the time to look at their website it specifically says to make an appointment or you will be waiting. If you come in wanting to be next in line, good luck. Never had a bad haircut, and they are extremely friendly. Also, those of you who are looking for an "experience" everytime you go somewhere, do us all a favor and go elsewhere. If you care about getting what you pay for, which is a great haircut, this is the place.

Worst haircut i have ever recieved. I was not told that my barber was an apprentice, he butchered ny hair and laughed about it when another barber told him he was messing up. He had no skill. I know its a learning process.. but dont hire someone and let him cut peoples hair unless he knows how to cut hair at least a little bit. They said the haircut was on the house because it was so bad. At least they didnt make me pay for it but geez. Only go here if you can make an appointment with a real barber. Not one of their trash apprentices.

Worst haircut I have ever received. Showed the barber a picture of the haircut I wanted and it came out nothing like it. He even cut my whole side part off when I specifically wanted it boxed out due to my awkward head shape. I kind of felt bad because he was an apprentice and didnt want to call him out, even left him a tip. Never coming here again, worst experience of my life, and now I have to walk around with a hat on in 90 degree weather. I have never felt so insecure about myself.

After reading prior reviews from Yelp, decided to give this place a try considering it wasnt too far from my place. Got seated in Justins chair no more than 5 minutes after my arrival (walk-in) and had asked for a high skin fade, comb over, with a hard part. Justin def delivered. His attention to detail was top notch. Ill be coming back again in the future for sure. The pomade is on point too!

I understand this place is great and all.. awesome barbers and clean ...friendly not so much... Im a business owner myself. To make someone wait 2 hrs after telling them 45 min and you do walk ins but not tell me just not today since you are booked till closing..knowing you will be busy with appointments ..just doesnt make sense.dont let your ego get to you.

Walked in and was told I needed an appointment. I know a few places are like that, but they only had 2 customers in the last 45 minutes. I watched while waiting for my brothers girlfriend to finish getting her nails done in the same shopping center. Just portrayed lazyness as one of the barbers just sat there. I wont be making an appointment or going back.

The Parlor is place where you feel at home. A bunch of really good guys that give a great experience to every person who comes in. Every appointment I make with Big John is awesome. Hes ready for me when I walk in and gives me a great cut with superb attention to detail. As long as Im in the area Ill never go anywhere else.

The closest thing in the area is 1.5 hrs away in Richmond. The best barbershop straight razor in Hampton Roads. The staff is super proffesional and friendly. I travel 2 hrs one way for a classic haircut. My kids will only get their hair touch by The Parlor Staff. They really care about how you look. !!

Im in from out of town for work. Usually Im not sure about going to other Barbers since Im not from around here. So i found the Parlour read the reviews and decided to try them out. I wasnt disappointed Justin stayed late and didnt mind doing my hair it. He did a great job def recommend this place.

Needed a haircut last minute before flying out of state for a funeral. Stopped in and was told only the apprentice was taking walk-ins. Told him what I wanted and he got to work. In the end it wasnt the haircut I asked for, it was better. Ive already recommended this place to friends.

Made an appointment with John, came in told him what I was looking for and he nailed it. The atmosphere is nice and real good place with beard oils and pomades. Location is a bit hidden, but not hard to find at all.
