The gym itself is good, there is a very diverse mix of people from the obviously very fit to those who are trying to improve, and even some granmas getting their workout on! Its usually very clean, and I have had no trouble finding a machine to use although after 3:30 p.m. weekedays is when the gym gets packed. Go early if you like a quieter gym. The BIG gripes I have are : 1. some of the friggin staff has NO idea whats going on. 100% of the questions I have asked staff have been answered with an "I dont know" or some vague answer that doesnt really answer the question. 2. The staff does NOT do a good job giving people the tour and helping them sign up . I went with a friend who wanted to join and the guy who showed us around looked everywhere but at US when speaking and just figgeted and acted like either he was extremely bothered by having to do his job or he was about to crap his pants.He was literally doing the bathroom dance, I have no idea why. Then when he explained the 30 minute circuit he said that you exercise for 60 seconds and then do the next machine for 30 seconds which is incorrect. The thirty minute circuit has a 60 and 30 second timer and when the light turns RED and the thirty sec. are counting down THAT is your time to CLEAN your machine and move to the next machine or step box to do another 60 seconds. NOW I know why so many assholes just mill around the circuit doing whatever, because obviously the staff does not explain how to COMPLETE the circuit. All in all a decent gym for those who are just starting out or who like a quieter atmosphere. Just need the staff to be more on the ball with helping people.

Mala experiencia al intentar ingresar a este GYM. Estoy en Miami por 2 meses y quería estar en este GYM ya que me queda cerca a la casa donde estoy. El asesor me informa que si no poseo un número de cuenta, es decir, una cuenta bancaria, no me podía matricular. Esto claramente es un problema de la marca al no tener previsto un protocolo para estos casos y en tal sentido se convierte en una muy mala experiencia para los potenciales usuarios que ni sin poner un pié dentro del GYM ya tenemos una terrible imagen.

Zen-like would be a good way to describe this place. Other than the slightly excessive amount of purple (no judgment zone), I really enjoyed working out here. I ended up changing gyms because of location but I would much rather have stayed with this gym since they do sweet deals without contracts. I would give them a 5 star review except for the fact that when you join and set up your automatic payments, they require that you bring a voided check. I am not that uptight and they let me bring it on the second visit so it was no big deal but at the same time I think this is slightly annoying since 9 out of 10 of us probably dont carry checkbooks anymore, let alone order and pay for them from banking institutions. I would gladly change this to a 5 star review if I knew there was a way around them doing ACH transactions only. Other than that, this place is kept immaculate, every single person on the staff seems eager to offer help and most of all you can ask them for advice on the spot.

This gym is not worth your time or energy, my boyfriend has a membership and wanted to take me one day and they said "NO"... if he wanted to bring a guest he would have to pay $20/month instead of $10. Does this make any sense if he was good no to pay $20/month I would just get my own membership instead. I dont want Joni its worth me paying $2. For this gym it doesnt have many options. Looks clean because its a new gym. Thats all... funny how its a gym and they offer candy at the front desk. Its like the bad cereal that a toy so you can buy it. Lol..... I dont recommend going to this gym . They say you cN go to ant planet fitness which is a Bold Face Lie....

Clean environment with very friendly staff. I signed up online and the sign up was a bit of a hassle but it was worth it because this gym has everything I need. The $10 per month is a great deal for this gym and you never seem to have to wait for machines. There are plenty of tv screens to look at and plenty of cardio machines. I myself am an independent exerciser and dont like classes and so I enjoy paying to use the gym and. It having to pay for classes that I would not attend. If you dont want to break the bank, dont want to attend classes, and want a clean and spacious environment to work out in this gym will likely be wonderful for you!

No free look period. I just wanted to check the place out for a day or two and see if it meets my time schedule, traffic, use etc. Disappointed to say the least. This must be the only national gym that does not allow a free pass, not even for a day. Crazy. They want you to sign up first and then cancel if you dont like it. I am sure after you set up an auto-draft and have to deal with all the cancellation paperwork and bank drama. This is typical for a small town, but not for a respected national chain.

I hate gyms, working out, sweating...Etc. That being said I can go here do my thing and get out. The whole "no gymtimidation" seems legit so far. The purple and yellow color scheme is atrocious... But that would be my only complaint. Depending when you go, machines are more available than other times of the day/week. Weekends are less busy.

Decent location...no free weight leg sleds, and the tanning equipment need updated. Level Two booths and level three lay down beds. Not enough mirrors in locker rooms, nobe are full length, large lockers though, and the showers are great. Also very clean clean and properly maintained. Good truck parking as well.

Staff run the place like a childcare. Not a mens gym. And just wait until you try and cancel!!! I finally gave them a bank draft authorization instead of a credit card and now that I am no longer in the state, they are making it IMPOSSIBLE to cancel this account.

Great place to work out, for 10 dollars a month and what they offer, you can text beat that, I say to anyone who tries to criticize, just go somewhere else. Its always clean, great staff, and equipment is always accessible.

Very clean place to get a workout. Helpful friendly staff always there to greet you. Wish there was more in the way of free weights but that kinda just goes with the territory of Planet Fitness.
