Avoid Arthur Murray Franchises - these places are evil! If you do want to take lessons from here (which is very overpriced), read & understand the contract! This is important as I was verbally told that my lessons were fully refundable. The contract had a clause that stated the refund was only valid for a twelve month time period. Naturally, it was after this had expired that I was no longer interested in continuing instruction with this business. When I took lessons there, they charged almost $150 for a 40 minute lesson. Compare that to private lessons that I took with some local Seattle Tango instructors, that couple only charged me $70 per hour (and they were on the more expensive side of things). I know that other people charge between $30-$60 per hour. Arthur Murray will teach you "competitive dancing". Likewise, they will pressure you to sign up for "routines" that cost even more on top of the lessons! Learn from my mistake - avoid this Arthur Murray Dance Studios!

We had a bad experience, our instructor was extremely rude to us and we ended up creating our own dance in the end as he was not willing to go through with what we agreed on initially. He forgot our dance steps and had a condescending attitude the whole time. He was just set on selling us more lessons, and they were already quite pricy compared to other schools in the area. Bad customer service, they dont go through with the initial agreement, and on top of it way too expensive.

I love the way the instructors are skilled to make it a fun experience yet teach you a lot at the same time. Whether it is to really learn or break your daily routine of working (or both!) this school goes highly commanded! Yes you pay a little more but that is the case when you want quality!

Everyone is so friendly and always smiling. Very accommodating for our lifestyle. The instructors at the Bellevue Arthur Murray are so talented and funny. Lots of personal attention and patience ❤
