Truly the worst gym I have ever been a member of. It is patently untrue that this is a no contract gym. When you sign up you pay first and last month dues as well as a registration fee which varies month to month. Small, independently owned which will leave you wanting for corporate recourse. I would have reported to the bbb but they are not affiliated, which makes sense as this is not a better business when compared to any other business I have ever seen. They have fine print upon fine print and the staff members are incredibly rude and dismissive. When I posted a truthful and truthfully bad review on their facebook they deleted it. That is how they deal with feedback- if it is not positive, they will ignore you and go on the defensive. When I questioned this policy as well the owner attacked me on facebook. The Yelp reviews show a more accurate, unedited perspective- one which they are unable to edit to their favor. Numerous people speak of the unfriendly staff. This is one of the most dishonest and aggressive companies I have ever had the displeasure of getting involved with. Dont make the same mistake I did.

i was a member for a few months, and i am now going through a hard time and wanted to cancel. under my impression if i cancelled on a certain day i would be good and not get charged any more. i asked them straight up once i filled out the form if i wouldnt be charged anymore. well i still get charged a week later and it was misunderstanding. so i wanted to be fair and ask if i can get extension for about 2-3 weeks of membership since i paid for it but never went in because i thought it was cancelled, they said no and it was out of their hands. i paid $75 for no use of it. its a gym and dont understand why i couldnt when they see i didnt go in anymore. the cancellation form says if i cancel AFTER the 10th of the month, i will be charged one final month, well i cancelled on the 10th. so in my eyes i shouldnt have been charged. plus dont sign up in February, i had to pay an extra $50 for some yearly fee this is all too confusing and i would have not even put this all here if they were straight up. i ask questions straight up to them because i have two kids and dont have time to read confusing contracts to begin with.

This place is a great NO CONTRACT gym. For those of you who dont know a contract is stating how long you need to stay with the company before you can leave, usually no less that 6 months to a year. Giving a company notice befor quitting is normal. Asking for EFT payment is convient for you and them. You cannot expect to be a member for free so the electronically take out your money (for your convinience) untill you cancell.. Your complaints are invaled lets try and state something true. The equiptment is nice and kept up with. Every piece of cardio has a personal tv which is great. The staff is friendly and i do agree some of the male personal trainers are intimidating and pushy. They are a trainer they are supposed to push you! If you dont want to be pushed dont sign up. It is a great gym and i wouldnt listen to me or anyone else. Check it out for yourself. Just know the difference between contract and non contract before you complain about paperwork. Its a liability to them to not have some form of documentation of their occupants.

Fitness Zone is BAD, Really BAD. They boast NO CONTRACT but when you quit they charge an extra $100 fee!! I now know as they informed me that it is No Contract but they waived the normal $150 joining fee and only collected $50 at joining & that quitting in the first six months causes the $100 waived to be charged. WOW, that sounds like a bunch of BS. When I checked with the Better Business Bureau I was informed that EVERY gym is required by Washingto State Law to enter into and have EVERY member sign a CONTRACT so that consumers have full disclosure and understanding of membership details AND that Fitness Zones tactics of advertising NO CONTRACT is definitely misleading. BUYER BEWARE of Fitness Zone :(

We called in and were told no contract = B.S. When we went in person they wanted us to sign plenty of paperwork:contract that had lots of fine print. They wanted first and last month dues upfront just to start along with some other fee. The paperwork:contract required our bank account info for them to take our dues automatically each month. The paperwork:contract stated that we would have to give written notice if we ever wanted to try and cancel. In our opinion, this gym is not anything special, they did not tell us the whole truth on the phone about their paperwork:contract.

I have met several people that have been offered different prices than we pay... I really dislike dealing with gyms that operate like a used car dealer pricing. There are a couple of trainers that are extremely pushy and not very well liked. Two male trainers make us feel very uncomfortable. It seems like the gym and the other businesses in the building are all struggling as none are very busy and are always running big discounts like $5 specials and 50% off... I wonder if the gym and the other businesses will be able to stay open?

This entity should honor their contract to their members. Not charge the person for anything after membership had been cancelled.out. It took advantage of the members credit card on file and went crazy happy charging on the persons credit card.even if the membership was cancelled a week or so ago. Dont patronize this business ... They dont play fair. Find another fitness center that contracts are not confusing so they could take advantage of you with their FINE PRINTS when you cancel your nembership

Take your money somewhere else. The equipment isnt that well maintained, you will likely deal with unexpected charges, and they will do literally zero to help you resolve problems. If you try cancelling your membership they require you to come in and fill out a form, or require you to fax it in just to process your cancellation. Anywhere else its fairly straightforward to cancel over the phone, providing them with the correct information. You wont find that here though. Avoid this gym at all costs.

Not impressed with the way the gym is operated, I purchased a membership and showed up for a spinning class posted on the website, I was early as the website is not up-to-date. The manager provided me a print out and said use this we never update the website. Five days later I show up for another spinning class only to find there is a special class going on. The manager said oh that class was canceled because we have this special class today and it was posted... inconsistent and unprofessional

We were told when we joined "Join now because the rates will be going up".Since-We have met several members that joined after us and pay less! The trainers are very aggressive and continuously try to solicit us. My wife thought she would like the classes (she doesnt). The weekend hours limit our opportunities to work out. We will be looking to join another gym in October.
