If you have landed on this page, I would imagine you may be comparing the reviews of the three Crossfit gyms in Benicia to help determine which one you want to join. Nothing against the other boxes in the area, but Jute Crossfit is the clear-cut cream of the crop. I had actually tried signing up for one of the other local Crossfit gyms first, but I couldnt get a call back after half a dozen attempts - it turns out this was a blessing in disguise. I dialed the number listed on the Jute website and Alan, one of the coaches, answered on the first call. He invited me to join a class the following day which I happily agreed to. From day one, I could immediately feel that there was something special about Jute. The other members were extremely warm and welcoming, and it was encouraging to see people of all ages and levels of experience. The coaches, Justin and Alan, are truly invested in the growth and development of each member. They are also highly focused on technique, and they want to ensure all movements are done in the safest and most effective manner. I have seen huge improvements in my strength, stamina, physique since joining Jute seven months ago. But above all, I am most thankful for the relationships I have built with the coaches and other members. The community atmosphere that Jute Crossfit embodies is something that you truly need to experience to understand. I am extremely proud to be a part of THE best gym in the Bay Area!

I was a drop in today, Allen was in the middle of a class but greeted me and had me sign the liability form. Afterwords he let me look around; I had my own training plan already, so he let me do my thing while he finished leading the class. Afterwords we chatted for a few minutes and I left. Very clean and spacious gym, new equipment, large rig, plenty of rowers, bars, boxes. There was even an Olympic Lift station. Multiple clean bathrooms, plenty of cubby space and a Big Ass Fan, which was my favorite part, after my chipper. While this was my first time there, I will forever come here when Im visiting the area. I highly recommend this box!

This is the best crossfit gym in the area. Members see great results because the coaches are well trained and take the time to explain every movement EVERY TIME. A lot of other crossfit gyms Ive been to just assume you know what youre doing after youve been going for awhile--but theres always something new to learn or improve on. A testament to this crossfit gym is how many of its members have left other crossfit gyms to join Jute -- other boxes arent as clean, arent as friendly, arent as focused on safety and dont have knowledgeable coaches. Jute has all of these areas covered.
