My first negative haircut experience. I had the owner cutting my hair. He was depressed and unpleasant. Most of my haircut was spent listening to him complain about how he isnt making enough money. I could get over that easy enough if it werent for his complete lack of basic haircut knowledge. I asked for a high fade with skin around the ears. Easy enough? He cuts a low fade sort of thing I finally get to see what he is doing so I tell him I would like it higher up and shorter. So he doesnt? I ask him to go a lot shorter and higher up so he proceeds to say oh you want the "Jar head haircut". This urks me a little being a service member and him knowing that, but oh well. If I get my "Jar head haircut" I will be happy. He doesnt change anything. Its been an hour at this point. So I am done. I say it looks great. Trying to gtfo of there so I can go get a real haircut. I didnt talk about my bang I have no words for there disturbing appearance. Turns out he only takes card so I have to run down the street to get cash out of an atm. Overall bad.

Great hometown barbershop with nice view. Alex knows how to cut your hair if you are competent to tell him what you want. In the Marine Corps we call it a controlled taper or a high and tight.
