They say a business strives with great customer service, well this place missed the bench mark on every aspect. Trainers: Knowledge of what the trainers are doing is non existence, the clients are always complaining about injuries and pains yet the trainers motto "Work thru the pain, Brah!!!" Seems to be a common theme. Staff: I am sure 24 hour fitness is a template for the future computer ran fitness clubs. Just look how the staff are, they greet you like robots, dont pay attention to the weights all over the place (I stop cleaning after others) and most importantly, ask them something, they always have no answers. Management: The few times that I raised issues about the above circumstances, the management gave two Sh**ts. And theyre even mean about it. Common responses are "Wat ya talkin about?" Or my all time favorite "whats your problem Brah?" Haha!! Ahhh the misplaced meat heads. You gotta love them. Showers: Well be ready to have a shock, the locker room is dirty, full of towels laying all over the place and dirt and dust from at least a few years ago covers the top of the lockers. Showers always broken and water temperature always off. Pool: FILTHY, I used to swim there a few years back, and when I decided to pick swimming up again, I was shocked to the amount of dirt and bandaids in the bottom of the pool, some were in there for at least the three weeks that I swam in that pool, until I got an ear infection and never went back. Exercise Group: The instructors are loud, obnoxious and have no idea how to motivate people other than to scream at you. My military days are long gone, but its funny to attend a class here and there to laugh at some of the idiotic things they say to motivate the crowds. Supplement Shop: TOO EXPENSIVE, enough said. So if you read all this I hope that I pursued you to go somewhere else. Back in the old days 24hour Fitness was the gold standards. Now its the poop standards.

Its not the gym I was expecting it to be. 24hr fitness as a whole when I was younger was different. I always saw it as a high priced gym but you get what you pay for. Lately its you pay high prices and they dont fix anything. If a machine is broken it takes a while to get it fixed. The maintenance guy they have there isnt the smartest. If he cant figure out why the sign is on the machine he just pulls the sign and walks away. All the cardio machines are really starting to show the signs of old age and being abused for so long but they wont replace any of them. Who owns a iPhone 4 these days? The TVs on the cardio machines work intermittently. I brought up one of the back machine rods for the weights was too short two years ago and they still havent replaced it. I dont understand how 24hr fitness became the new ballys fitness I might end up going back to LA Fitness by the end of the year if things dont change. They have 5 people working the front desk now but Ive never seen any staff walking around cleaning the gym up. All I see them doing is folding towels. Five people at once doing this so they can stand around and bs. I do like the customer service at times but it needs work. The janitors work at night so if something needs to be cleaned they just put an out of order sign on it and walk away instead of dealing with it. I complained on Facebook once and the manager called me yelling at me about my complaint. truly disappointed in the direction that 24hr fitness as gone.

First time ever entering a 24 Hour Fitness. Was excited to enter, walked to the desk and asked to find out about the membership. The young blonde girl flatly replied that I would "have" to wait and someone would come out and speak to me. Well, I waited and waited and waited. Finally I went online to the 24 Hour Fitness web page and saw that they offer 3 day passes. So, I signed up for one. I was short on time now so I politely went to tell the girl that I didnt have time to wait any longer and that I had signed up for a 3 day pass and that I would come back later. Instead of being glad that I meant business she acted surprised then scoffed and said, " You dont think youre gonna work out today do you? You still need to fill out paperwork." I then showed her the pass and she said, "It doesnt matter, you still need to speak to someone alone, show your ID and sign paperwork. Youre not gonna just walk in here and start working out." She then smiled like she gave me a zinger of a response. I cannot imagine who hired this person to be in customer service but you INSTANTLY took a potential contract customer and immediately threw up intentional road blocks in their way. And then smiled gladly. Your customer service sucks and therefore I will not be signing what turned out to be an expensive membership. Besides, I dont want to have to see that passive aggressive, unprofessional employee again.

24 crowded fitness. Whoever wishes to join, congratulations on choosing to make a healthy choice! Double up on that by not joining this craphole. I wish I could take you back 4 years to when this place didnt suck as much. As you walk in your greeted by a large gym! This would be okay, except for the fact that they decided that caps on people allowed in at once should be nonexistent. So enjoy massive crowds at almost any time. But dont worry, since it seems that all the people make up for it by having absolutely no common courtesy. Re racking weights? Crazy talk. Cleaning up after themselves? Hell no. Oh you want to use this bench? Sorry bro, Im using it to watch TV. Its fine though, since the real jerks are crowded around the ONE power cage (the only place in a 6 bazillion square foot gym to do squats) in order to show off how much they can curl. In the squat rack. If that got you all sweaty, dont worry! Theres more! You can walk through the filthy locker room, wading through the towels on the floor to get to the sauna, where someone has invariably decided that dumping some kind of scented oil is the best way to choke everyone else out so they can have it to themselves. Now that thats all over, you can head into the locker room, try to shower in one of the broken showers, and wonder how youll get home that night since someone stole your stuff.

I have found this company to be very sly in their business practices and I cannot recommend this company to anyone. I experience 2 "scams" from this company: 1.) Cancellation Policy. Be very weary on this policy in the fact that throughout the company they are not clear on their policy. I cancelled my membership on the phone and I made it very explicit that I wanted to cancel it immediately and not to be charged in the next cycle. I asked for a confirmation cancellation number, and they said they could not provide one but they assured me that it was cancelled in the system. The following month I was charged and they had no record of cancellation and said there was nothing they could do. This time I wrote down the name and time of the person. 2.) Moving Clubs. This facility is moving to a new club and automatically charging every member a $10 initiation fee and an additional $5 / month. Existing members (some of whom have been there for 20 years) are being charged this fee just because they are building a new club! This was the last straw, I was fine with the old club, I dont want to be charged additional for this new club. My current membership fee here si 39.99/month, LA fitness which is a nicer facility is $9/month cheaper.
