This place has really good food and most of the staff and the owner are courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, they have a couple of bad apples that make me hesitant to continue eating here. I came in on a day when something went wrong with their equipment that had people waiting for over half an hour for their food. The owner got right in front of it and went around handing out cards for free sandwiches to help make up for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, as I was waiting, I had to watch the manager (I assume she is the manager) take out her frustration on her employees. When my food finally came, I had to rush out to get back to work. Unfortunately, they had made my sandwich incorrectly and left out something Id paid for. I tried three times to call and finally reached the manager the next day. She said she was busy and she would call me back. That never happened. I finally just went into the store and made my request in person. The guy behind the counter seemed annoyed and after trying to charge me the wrong amount three times threw his hands up in the air and demanded that "someone else come and deal with this guy". Now I was mad so I demanded a refund from the manager who had not called me back which she gave me with no apology or eye contact. I saw the owner and asked to talk to him. To his credit, he apologized and comped my whole lunch. My concern is though that this guy and the unprofessional manager will still be there any time I want to eat there and I dont want my food spit in. At the very least, it will now be uncomfortable to eat there. Its a shame because, as I said, the food is great and the owner seems like a decent guy. He should be concerned about how his people are representing him.

So I give them a five star as far as food quality goes and their service most of the time is top notch. But on this particular day it was a zero!!And out of the eight people working there I believe, not one gave you the firehouse greeting and as I sat there and ate I watched and counted 26 other people who came in not one got a greeting and there was seven numbers still sitting on peoples tables because nobody came around to check on if the food was okay or not in the entire 35 minutes I sat there. Now Ive been here many many times and it was the first time that Ive ever seen it like this it was a lot like being at a subway. Also they usually ask you if your a Rewards member and if you would like to round up to the Firehouse charity which is a good cause and I was never asked nor was anyone else. At the end of the day this place is still phenomenal and it must have been just something in the air this day..

Went back again. The place was empty. Employees shout some greeting as I entered the front door. Scared the heck out of me. Felt uncomfortable. The guy behind the cash register, would not shut up. Just take my order. Food was better this time. Just not that good. The sandwich was sloppy and they use that cheap (McDonalds shredded lettuce). The only thing that saved the sandwich, at the end of the counter there are bottles of hot sauce. The house hot sauce cover up the weird lettuce taste. I will go back. Only because, I get tired of going to Subway. I agree with other comments. One customer in the store 5 employees and it took 10 minutes to make one sandwich. If there was fire it would have burned the house down.

New store. It had been open for a week. Long wait for a sandwich. Ordered two medium, the Turkey Bacon Ranch and there signature Barbecue Bisque. The Turkey sandwich had something weird about the taste, it just had an odd taste, almost a rotten greens taste. It was hard to finish. The Signature BBQ Bisque, was disappointing. The bread all all wet. And, the meat was bone dry. They tried to put sauce on it, but, it was not enough and the meat was just weird, like dried out, cheap meat. Plan to go back, but think, I will wait another month. See if they get the place dialed in. But for now. I am not impressed.

A coworker and I stopped in to Firehouse Subs (Smokey Point, initially) on a whim, and I instantly fell in love. Ive been there 3 times in about a week and a half. Ive only had the BBQ brisket sandwich, but thats because its just about the best sub Ive ever had at a sub shop. The brisket is amazing, and their bread is very good. The staff have been friendly and inviting every time Ive stopped in. The facilities have been clean, as well. It can be a little pricey, but I gladly pay it for the brisket sub.

This was our 4th time there. The cheese and steak sandwich is our favorite. The meatball sandwich I had last time was pretty good but have come back to the steak and cheese, it is so good, I couldnt resist ordering it again. Service was great had sandwiches in reasonable time. Friendly staff. A staff member came up and asked if it tasted ok. We said it was very good. Its the best subsandwich steak and cheese weve ever had and will definately be back!

First time there, will not be going back. When I went in I was the only one there. I placed my order and it seemed to take a while to get my sub. Got home to find it was not what a I asked for. Upon returning I found a line going from the counter to the door. Since I did not feel like waiting forever in a line to replace a sub that took forever to get, the sub was thrown out and I returned home empty handed.

Firehouse subs is a great place to eat! They have amazing staffing that are very friendly and can answer all of your questions. The atmosphere is great. I especially liked that they have 1/3 of their menu is towards having a lower calorie BUT very flavorful and filling meal! My fiance and I are totally going to be coming here a lot. They have top notch ingredients. Who needs subway? NOT ME!

So I understand Firehouse Subs was started by actual firefighters. If they responded to fires as fast as they deliver subs I know why they are no longer firefighters. Went into the Firehouse Sub at Smokey Point, 4 people working behind the counter and about 10 customers in the store. It took over 20 minutes to get our order of ONE veggie sub. The sub was mediocre at best.

Being from Jacksonville, this was a godsend. The sweet tea is on point and the subs speak for themselves. The staff here is always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, this is the closest location to Seattle but I still frequent it. Dont forget to try the Datil Pepper Sauce. Favorites: Club on a Sub and the Meatball.

Waited over an hour for an online order. When we inquired about our order they told us it was just about done. They said that 3 times. We had already paid online. We told them dont bother and got a refund. I cant review the food because we never got it but as far as the service... Yea.. They need a new manager.
