Cheap Business Practice at Sorella Issaquah ! I went in for a regular deep conditioning treatment for my hair at Sorella (Issaquah location). The stylist made me wait for 30 mins at the lobby and then she finally arrived with no word of apology. When asked about the benefits of deep conditioning treatment, she made it sound like it was a total waste of time and I should rather not do it. She was very pushy and wanted me to get the Brazilian blowout for my hair. I made it very clear to her that I wanted to get the deep conditioning treatment only at that point of time. When I was ready to pay the bill at the counter, I was rather shocked to see that she had overcharged me. Before I came in,I called up the salon to make an appointment , I made sure the amount they would charge me for this service. It was a flat rate they promised. The stylist here was truly dishonest, unethical and cheap. Later I called up the salon to speak to the manager. The receptionist took my message and number and told me that the manager would return my call. But, they never called and didnt bother to clarify. They clearly dont value the customer nor care about their business. I would never go back to this salon again. I wish I could give ZERO stars to this place Its a total rip off !

I had been going to the same woman to get my hair but just about my whole life. When I moved about 25 miles away I decided to try a few new salons and I must say Stephanie at Sorella Salon is AMAZING. My super quick background - Im not a huge fan of dramatic change and lately my hair is falling out to the point you can see my scalp. Ack! Well, Stephanie did not magically grow some more hair for me, but the cut is fantastic! I almost dont mind the thinning. The real test is when you get home and wash and style it and WOW! My hair looks just like the picture I brought in as a demo. I LOVE IT! I just about balked at the price of the cut ($75.00 before tip for a cut!) but it just might be worth it. Stephanie, thank you! (gave only 4 stars because the price was a little too high - the service was worth 5+ stars)

Melissa at Sorella Salon is the best hairstylist Ive had in several decades of hair cuts/colors. She is sweet, attentive, highly skilled, and has an artistic eye and attention to detail that cant be matched. Sorella Salon is a great setting for her -- laid back, friendly, and in a beautiful location. I always relax as I drive up the hill to the salon, looking out over that great view. I like to head over a little early, then stop in next door for a cup of tea (or coffee). Sorella isnt close to me...takes 25-30 minutes to drive there....but it is well worth it. If youre looking for a hair style that is geared to you and your lifestyle, give them a call. Yup, its pricier than a haircut at a strip mall, but you get what you pay for.

Sue from Issaquah: Kyle at Sorell Salon is amazing! He knows what is best for every hair type and when he washes it is an "event". He washes twice, massages your scalp and the back of your neck, applies conditioner and whatever your hair needs. The color product he uses gives you a very natural color look. He is truly an artist, knowing what syle is best for every cleint he works on. You will walk out feeling like the princess you are. I will never trust my hair to anyone else after seeing what Kyle did for me and he can do the same for you! Call today for an appointment with Kyle before he is too booked and you cant get the day and time you want!

The client before me went over (an hour and 10 minutes over), and the staff took the initiative to come to me and offer a discount due to the wait. Elizabeth did a great job on my purple ends! Unfortunately, no one told me that the amount of dye that came out would dye my tub! I even used cold water :( Also no one told me that it would fade when I used my straightener! Im a little upset about that because it is very patchy PLEASE update your consent forms, so that it doesnt happen to anyone else. Specifically with heat use and to wash hair in a place where it wont stain anything.

Brand new to the area and in search of my go to salon. After $240 for just bleach (zero color, toner, gloss, etc) and a cut, two visits w/two separate stylists and relentless up selling, im moving on. I dont fault the stylists, I cant imagine they enjoy selling in the excessive, unnatural manner they do. You wont escape the force feed of add ons and product sales - its tacky. That said, Im willing to pay for good work and always buy products from my stylist. If the quality of care and ambiance were better, id happily buy everything they sold me. The vibe is that of a factory

Stephanie at Sorella Salon is a fantastic stylist. She listens and executes exactly what you want in a haircut or style, and is very skilled in helping create a style that works for you if you are unsure yourself what you are looking for! Ive stuck with Stephanie for 5 years now and will not let anyone else cut or style my hair! Ive also been going to Erin at Sorella Salon for eyebrow and body waxes for years now. Erin is incredibly skilled in the art of waxing. She is very gentle and makes the whole experience professional, relaxing, and beautiful!

I have been going to this salon (Andrea) for about a year now. I love her, she is a great stylist & colorist. I can't say I have had a hairstylist do better then her. She did my hair trial & updo for my wedding in June incorporating a hair piece I made. It was beautiful, held up all night with crazy dancing! I don't know about the other employees but Andrea is awesome! The only reason I give a 4/5 stars is because it can be hard to get an apt. If you require a monthly do, and because it is a bit expensive but worth every penny

China is a cut and color genius. She attends sessions on fashion, whats hot and new style techniques. She really seems to love and enjoy what she does...and she does it extremely well! I appreciate her ideas and creativity that gives my hair the modern, up-to-date look. Also, Erin is great for facials and waxing. She offers a ton of skin advice and is always so pleasant. The salon environment is comfortable and professional. The Oribe products are great too! Overall a great experience. You pay for what you get...

I was excited to go to Sorella (for the first time) in hopes of getting the perfect haircut by a top stylist. Im always wiling to pay more for quality work, but to be totally honest, the price was not worth the cut. I could have gotten that haircut at a Supercuts for a fraction of the price. I felt they did a lousy job washing my hair and it still felt dirty after. The hair stylist was a nice person, but too chatty. Finding the perfect hair stylist is the hardest thing ever! Needless to say, I wont be returning. :(
