Paid for a dance class series for my kid, only to pick him up and find out that they had sat on the floor talking for the entire class. Wanted a refund for the class, but the studio owner said that they always talk for the entire first class. What?? And that since we had done two previous series, we had no cause for complaint. My son added that they had spent a class halfway through the last series discussing what they would wear for the performance. If you want to pay for dance classes WITH NO DANCING, go ahead. They dont advertise how little dancing they actually do, so please be forewarned!!

I only go to KDC on Saturday evening, when they have open dance floor playing mostly west coast swing and occasional NC2S. The atmosphere is casual, fun and overall definitely a good place to lose several hours. The entry includes a water bottle and snack, something I didnt expect the first time. The only drawback is that it can get pretty warm in the summer; they have a large fun blowing on one side but no A/C and I found myself having to rest and drink often to avoid overheating.

This Dance hall is great! although being small in size, it has rooms to socialize in besides the dance floor. It has plenty of atmosphere as well. also, before every social dance they have lessons. On swing dancing nights, people seem to come specifically to dance though. Not so much to socialize.
