This gym has a neighborhood vibe to it. The staff is always kind and quick to answer any questions, or while addressing your concerns. The locker rooms and restrooms are always kept nice and clean. Even when there are alot of people here working out, the place never seem crowded. There are daily classes such as yoga and Zumba. The male locker room houses a dry sauna, and there are 3 tanning beds for all members to use. They have a wide variety of beverages, including pre-workout drink mixes available. Still not convinced enough to buy a membership? Just ask if you can come check it out for a day or two! The staff wants you to enjoy your time here, and I am sure you will!

They opened their doors with a collection of used equipment that doesnt match (some of it looks to be 20 years old), promptly decreased their hours so people who come in later at night were out of luck and billed me a couple of months extra after I quit. I guess its not the most horrible gym out there (staff is friendly and teachers are fine), but there are others in this price range that offer a wider variety of classes (i.e. more than one beginner level yoga class...) and newer, more modern equipment.

Love this place, love the people, love their classes - its a little on the small side, but that is just perfect for me! I come at o-dark 30 anyway, before it gets too busy. Most of the clients are there for a workout... and even those that seem to come to socialize (which is just fine too) dont bother or keep their conversations short for those of us who came to get our work-out on and get back to life. The only down-side - the bikes in spin class arent maintenanced enough.

After being a member of the only other gym in the area, I was willing to try anything. I have to say that I am completely satisfied with the transfer. Friendly staff and cleanliness FAR supersedes the fact that equipment is not the most up to date. But really its not the equipment that makes you look good.. Its working out and this I feel comfortable with at Lake Stevens athletic club.

This is a great place to get a workout in without crowds of people and waiting for equipment to become open. There are no gym bunnies and grunting meat heads so you can workout with confidence. The equipment selection is good for a small gym and the employees are fantastic!
