When I first signed up for an assignment the staff gave me a position that kept pushing back the start date, I waited two weeks for this one assignment to start. Then when the day finally came to go to work I get there early and the supervisor asked me why I was there. I told them laborworks sent me and she then called her boss to come up to the front where we were. The manager walks up to me and says yea we cancelled our account because the owner doesnt like laborworks performance so we wont be needing you. I then went directly back to the office and told them about it, they didnt give me a new assignment and they didnt reimburse me for the time and gas that I used to get to the assignment. They tell you that a job pays more just so you will go out and do the job, then when you get paid, the per hour rate is less than they told you. THEN, I called them to ask whats going on and they boldly to my face said that they never told me the job pays more. I took my job ticket in to get processed two and a half hours before I had to go back to the job site. I specifically said I need this processed sooner because I needed gas money to get to work. They waited until the very last minute to take probably less than five minutes to put the ticket information into the computer and made me late for work because of the delayed processing. I also brought in a ticket earlier in the morning after the job assignment rush where there were no other tickets to process and no one in the office to help they still took a few hours to like I said before take less than five minutes to input the information on the ticket. Management is very short with answers and makes you feel like youre bothering them with your questions. There was also an incident where I asked on numerous occasions if labor works was hiring for the office position and I was told no. Well two of the girls just left and I know that they have to give some kind of notice ahead of time. Even though I have 15 plus years of this kind of experience I was never called and or given the chance to apply. When I found out about the positions I asked the manager if I could apply and once again I got a quick very short answer of the positions have been filled. Its hard enough to get by doing same day pay type of work but to be treated like Im less then, like I dont matter to this company is really degrading and really uncalled for. If it wasnt for us workers busting our backsides they wouldnt have a job, heck they wouldnt have a company. I would really think about heading to this office, ask yourself do I really want to break my back for 9.47 an hour then get treated like a piece of shite on their shoe and if they say the job pays more ask for their answer in writing because THEY WILL deny the facts later. Labor Ready is 15 mins away from this office on meridian in South Hill and they pay you the rates that the job is worth. So if its hard and laborious then at least you get compensated for having to break your back. I really dont like to leave bad reviews on places but I think that everyone should know what they are walking into because it is shocking experience.

Well i did a job for them on a Saturday job and left at 6 a.m.. They told us they barely was able to get $12 an hr for a job in Kenmore. Upon arriving at the job we find out the company was willing to pay us $18 an hr but since we had a ticket through labor works that we had to take the $12 an hr pay. The office was closed by the time the job was over so we are supposed to slip our tickets under the door and wait for them to close out thebtickets on monday morning. The office ooens at 530 a.m. on monday and it is now 10:17a.m. on Monday morning and i still have not been paid. When i called to ask when we was getting paid they responded " here in anlittle bit we havent gotten to it yet". After a whole day of waiting to get paid after finding out we either got short shafted on the wage. Or they really didnt negotiate a good pay for us most people who work above Seattle get $15 an hr. At least. You would think that getting the ones paid from the previous work week would be paid out in a timely fashion. I dont really expect anything to be done about this either.

Just a rude staff. When u work of a company they should be able to answer your questions right the first time without having to call 400 time to get the right answer. Theres been a few times I turned in a ticket and had to wait hours to get paid even when I told them I needed the money for gas to get to the jobsite they asked me to go to and was late cause of this and they dock my pay like that was all my fault. Oh Well, I guess if u need money in a pinch this is for you. If not get a real job.

Complete disregard for workers health & safety; Ive worked for this branch for quite sometime and they frequently leave out key details pertaining to assignments. They will do anything to get you out to the job only to find out your health will surely be compromised. Frequent pay complications; and be sure not to use their equipment; on two occasions I was charged for equipment I returned and or didnt even use. I would avoid this entire company at all costs but most importantly this branch.

Ive been coming to Labor Works, since 2007. The first office I visited was in Tacoma. I gotta say both of these offices were run very poorly, under the worst management I have ever seen. They send us to jobs thats really physical work(which I dont mind), and off the radar. And then there not sure what time most of the jobs they send us to start. I will not give them a good name, or say anything good about them. The managers are very rude & impolite to some of the people looking for work.

Worst labor works out of all of them. I was told yesterday I had a job waiting for me and when I showed up this morning the idiot behind the counter wasted my time ignored me was mingling with others and didnt send me out to work I highly highly recommend going to labor works in Olympia they treat everyone fairly and they dont ever lie when they say a job is available and they will actually go out of their way to put you to work unlike this place

A lady named Diana keeps answering the phone and she is rude and virtually no help at all. I would kind of like to know what im going to be doing for work before i go in but for whatever reason she cant give me a straight answer as to what exactly it is ill be doing. You should really let someone know what to expect rather than have them show up at 5:30 in the morning and potentially waste their day.
