Horrible place and VERY unsafe/dirty place to be!!! Over the past few months Ive had nothing but problems with this place! It started with the daycare losing my 1yr old child! I went to check through one of the windows on him and watched the night crew girls just standing around talking while my son moved the gate and walked out of the room. NONE of them even noticed! I waited a few minutes before going in and asking about him and saw the panic on thier faces when they realized they couldnt find him. My son was safely returned to me but that isnt the point. Again a few nights later I go to check on my son again only to find no toys out for the kids to play with and all of them just sitting around watching tv. I dont pay good money for them to just let my kid sit there and watch tv all the time. Both incidents I went straight to a manager who said they would look into it but ofcouse nothing was done about either incident! Then today I finally had enough and canceled my families entire membership because while my son and I were swimming, he got sick and puked from swallowing the water. He puked a good amount in the pool too. I told one of the female lifeguards who said theyll take care of it. I went to get dressed and came out to find a bunch of people back in the water without them cleaning it properly! Disgusting!!! I went to the front desk and they acted like they cared but once again no one got out of the pool for it to be cleaned. We will NOT be coming back.

Whenever I needed a longer workout session I used to go to the Mel Korum YMCA in Puyallup. They have been for the most part friendly but not the most engaged in terms of work ethic. Specifically, a taller and older gentleman who works at the front desk who is always talking to members at the front desk about football and is not very helpful. Just recently on July 5, 2017 I arrived at 10 pm; a half hour before they closed and I was denied access because they apparently shut down all computers a half hour before closing. I know this is not true because I had to sign a liability form and check in as a statewide reciprocity member last year in May I arrived at the same time and I got a 30 minute workout in. But apparently I was denied access because the taller, older gentleman "could not" log into his computer to check me in when it was 30 minutes away from being closed. Granted, this guy sees me all the time and did not let me workout for 30 mins because he "could" not check me in. I have been to the Auburn Valley YMCA in King County and Gordon Family YMCA in Pierce county and they dont even deny access to members who arrive 15 mins away from their closing time. I am quite distraught and will no longer attend the Mel Korum YMCA in Puyallup.

I was just charged and unexceptionable amount of money. My payments are due on the end of every month and they decide to charge me now in the beginning of the month so i was charged twice in two weeks. This has actually happened to me and other members of this Gym. When i first spoke to the membership lady she was totally caring and helpful but when i realized i was charged twice and called her back she was very rude and made it out to be my problem and wasnt trying to help me figured out was the mix up was. Told her im going to cancel my membership and she said okay thats fine... What kind of customer service is this? I was calm and collective not being rude of any sorts. I love the Y ive gave and brought them business. This lady only cared about getting money rather then helping a customer out. Though the Y is a place you can trust.... So if you like being over charged and below average customer service this is the place to go.

Most of the youth sports are completely adequate for giving your kids year-round athletics, with the exception of swimming lessons. For some reason they changed the swim lesson registration to only online, starting on a monday at 10AM. That wouldnt be a problem if all the classes didnt fill up by 10:02. If you arent signing your kid up at 10 on the dot on that Monday morning, youre not getting your kid in the class. However, this isnt a problem with almost all the other programs they offer. Just make sure you plan on arriving to classes 10 minutes earlier than normal to account for finding a parking spot on most evenings. Its extremely crowded during most weeknights after 4pm. Staff is friendly, and theres lots of MILFs so its good times. Nothing like a little eye candy while you workout. I love my wife, I love my wife, I love my wife.

I have been a member for close to a month now. They screwed up our membership sign up, so we had to rip it apart and sign up for two different accounts for one household. My ten year old sister is now on her own account. But during the process the woman I dealt with was impatient and rude. Plus to top if off, it ened up costing us an extra $30 a month and that is minus a household member. Now that we have became members we have had a pretty favourable experience, well expect for my one year old being unable to do daycare because of her screaming; she wanted to play with the other toddlers ha ha ha. Both of my girls love to swim. My one year old instantly knows where she is. Both girls are doing gymnastics and swimming starting next week. Well see how it goes!!!!

Currently not a costumer but iam planning on going back Ive been coming here since 2015 and I never bad an issue my only reason for a 3 star is the price for daycare has gone up and its kind of pricey for 1 child its $30 plus what you pay for yourself I paid $50 for myself including my son 30$ and he would only comE with me maybe 4-5 times out of the month other then that I like this place its clean the staff always greet and are welcoming and helpfull when you need help it does get a bit crowded at times but its a good gym they have great classes as well I always go back to this gym and wouldnt go anywhere else in town

Well my son and I stopped in to get paperwork on joining and within a 15 minute period our car was broken into and everything stolen. When speaking to the police the woman said yeah three cars had been taken in the last week. People breaking the locks off lockers and stealing key fobs and then once they find the car steal it. Then as we were leaving a police car showed up while I was still on the phone with the officer and I asked is this for me and she said no that it was for something else that happened at the same time. Not a safe place to go.... I wouldnt join now if you paid me.

One of the main attractions to this Y was the many classes offered for my kids as a part of the membership. Unfortunately they have so many members that you have an extremely difficult time getting into the classes. We tried swimming, karate, toddler gym, etc., and had only occasional success getting into classes. We contacted the aquatics director for assistance amongst many other staff members to no avail. I wouldnt recommend this gym to a family. Way too much trouble trying to use the things your membership purchases.
