The facility itself was good. Some new machines than the normal gym I frequent in Kent. However I have 4 kids and the Kids Club is a huge factor in my experience. The area itself was great and my daughter had fun. However the gal on duty yesterday around noon was rude and condescending. I admit that I was late (10minutes) in picking up my child. I appologized and didnt mean to be late. My bad, my mistake on mixing up the time I dropped her off. But after asking me if I was new to 24hr and me replying no, my daughter and I go to the one in Kent all the time. She still felt the need to explain the rules, to give me a paper on the rules and tell me this incident has to go on my account. (This was my first time here at Redmond!) Sorry that I am not your normal looking white-rich-Redmond house wife. I may look young and yes I am colored, but I did graduate from a 4 year college 9 years ago and am not stupid that you need to scold me like a little child. Maybe you should have asked me where I was going to be during my workout, which any normal kids club attendant does. Sorry that it was an inconvenience that my daughter was there 10minutes extra and it stopped you from closing kids club early since no other kids was in there. Thanks to you Fawn, driving to Redmond is not worth feeling unwelcome!

This place was great when I first started coming, however I ended up switching to another gym when it got unbelievably crowded in April. I found that there was never enough equipment in the weights section. This isnt a reflection of the clubs business or the management. What really bothered me is how one of the managers (I dont know her name) pestered me about why I was switching to another gym and pretty much wouldnt let me walk out without telling her why I was leaving after cancelling. It has also taken over an entire month for my money to be refunded, mind that I also cancelled before my pay period began. When I called to bring this up, I was barked at by the same manager and told to "be patient". With the big negative out of the way, I do want to address that for the price, the place has solid equipment, decent amenities, and I like how they have a little pop up shop in their lobby (they actually occasionally have some really good deals on protein bars and supplements). Other than the fact that this specific club is becoming extremely crowded, I feel this is a great gym that is a lot more worth your money than Golds Redmond, which I am a member at now. Its just a shame that one manager had to make a bad departing impression on me.

This is a nice large facility, I appreciate the private showers, however, and the only reason I rate it lower is because they only seem to clean the bathrooms and showers once a day. I work all day, and usually only get to come in later in the evening around 11pm and the bathrooms, toilets, showers are completely filthy always, they do not do any cleaning mid afternoon or late afternoon that I see, so for those like me that come in later we get to shower and such in the FILTH of hundreds of others from earlier in the day. I have been to many other facilities around the Seattle area and this seems to be the only one NOT keeping up with proper cleaning of the mens rooms. Very upsetting. May have to change my main location to one of the other locations and drive a bit further just for better cleanliness The staff at the front is very friendly and pleasant, but cleanliness is a huge thing for me. Zero stars on cleanliness 4 stars on staff and facility size and equipment

Was a member here for about 6 months or so, until I moved into a building that had 2 free gyms for residents, and couldnt justify the expense. It was a tough decision though. This is the best gym Ive ever been a member of, and a significant step up from other 24-Hour Fitnesses. Im guessing it benefits from being in Redmond, because the amenities blow away the other locations Ive worked out in. Huge space, every imaginable machine, and often several of each, all well maintained and clean. Full sized pool and spa. Both a steam room and a dry sauna (although theirs always some jackass in the steam room pouring water on the thermostat trying to choke the rest of us out). Great locker rooms, with free body wash in all the showers. Towel service. Basketball courts. Spin room. Free Classes. I also have a better appreciation for the air circulation here now that Im working out at my apartment gym and missing the giant overhead fans...

My favorite gym in the Puget Sound area. Its Huge and the nice layout makes it feel very open. The equipment is all very new and in great shape. My favorite thing about it is that not only is it a nice gym with good towels but more importantly its usually very quiet, unlike the Northgate one where I used to go that was always very crowded. That means that even when doing weights, the machine I want it almost always available. Also, this is a GREAT place to run outside being right on the fantastic Bear Creek Trail, which is a picturesque trail, that you can run to Marymore Park or to the East Lake Sammamish trail. I was doing morning speed sessions here for the Summer months and even with the nice weather the trail is pretty deserted, about 8am.

I would say this is the second best 24 Hour Fitness in the wider area falling under the Bothel location. It has a clean facility with all the stuff you could expect, except its not the greatest spot over night. My girl friend was trying to take a shower when some dudes came in the female locker room to clean it. The other location in Bothel has male and female cleaning employees even over night. I was upset that she was hassled with the cleaning crew but there wasnt a manager on-site at the time to deal with it. So to not be too biased my rating is based on that experience but since the gym its self is nice Id give it an average go.

If your serious about fitness and actually improving yourself, this IS NOT the place for you. If you would like to stay out of shape, this IS the place for you. Im from Chicago visiting family, and I have been here 2 days in a row with numerous members and staff members making comments about "how much I workout" "why I workout so much" and even some fat guy commented "here comes muscles". Yes he was completely out of shape and was very large lol. This place has a horrible fitness attitude. Golds>24 hour fitness

I helped my parents join here while they were visiting us for a 2 month stay. At the time of joining, the staff were extra nice, said that it would be no big deal for me to pay for their membership etc. After my parents left the country, and I call to cancel the membership, they say that I cannot cancel since its not my account. My card gets charged every month. I have to fight this out now. HORRIBLE!! Even if you pay a bit extra in other places, you will be better off.
