NEVER going back here. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Went in to get my hair dyed grey, ended up with blue hair, a scabby scalp, a foul mood, and a stained shirt. I had a consultation with one stylist, but when I went in I found out she didnt work until later that afternoon. (This could have been solved by being able to make appointments, which this place does not do.) Anyway, I asked the two stylists who were there if they could do grey/silver, as I know this is a difficult color to get. They both promptly replied that yes, either of them could do that. So I waited for one of them to be available. I ended up with Cory. I showed him a picture of the haircut I wanted, and the color I wanted. He started with the haircut and I honestly dont even know if he looked at the picture at all. The haircut I got was nothing like what I asked for. At this point I should have left before he started the color. Unfortunately I did not. We went on the with the color, first bleaching my hair. He didnt quite get it to white, which you need to do if you want grey, it was still kind of yellow. He then started with the toning/color, we went and shampooed it out, then he brought me back to the mirror and said what do you think? as if we were done. My hair was still blonde, with a hint of silver. I said so, and he (in a rather snarky tone) asked "Well what did you mean by silver?" And I again showed him the picture I showed him at the beginning, which was NOTHING like the color of my hair. And he agreed that yes, my hair color did not look like what I asked for. So we went back to the coloring, and it was clear he had not done this before, he was asking the other stylist what do to, and even calling another stylist who wasnt working to ask for their advice. I asked at the beginning and they said they could do this color! Clearly that was not true, if someone asks you if you can do something and youve never done it before, SAY SO!!!! Also, after the first time I said that it wasnt the color I asked for, he became impatient and rather rough with my scalp that had been singed with bleach for way too long. Anyway, after MORE THAN 4 HOURS, several more coloring sessions, and about 12 shampoos later, my hair was almost close to the grey color I wanted, and I was just so ready to get out of there that I said it was fine, because I just wanted to leave. I got home, and my hair was blue. Blue as the sky. I also noticed that during the process, bleach had been running down the back of my neck and had stained my shirt collar pretty badly (one of my favorite flannels). Then next day, my scalp was COVERED in scabs. Normally when you are not satisfied with your hair, you contact the person who did it. However, in this case, I wanted nothing to do with Cory, I thought he was rude, impatient, rough with my scalp, and most importantly, did not know what he was doing. I attempted to contact the manager of the shop, however when I called, Cory answered, and was once again very rude on the phone. I then emailed the corporate email address, telling them about my experience. They replied, and asked me to come in to the shop to talk about fixing the problem. The thing is, I never wanted to go back there, I didnt trust any of them, and even if I did, my scalp was so damaged that I didnt want to put any more chemicals on it. I only wanted my money back. Unfortunately I did not get it. Bad cut, bad color, HORRIBLE customer service.

This was my second visit. Here are the pros and cons: PROS: If you look 21 they will give you a beer. Even though Im 24 Ive never been offered one but I also havent asked. So if you look young and are over 21 you will probably have to ask. Great environment with a lot of pizazz. The people there are okay too. They accept walk ins and give decent cuts. CONS: A bit steep on price compared to quality, it was about $30 for a basic mens cut. It feels rushed. Both times two different people kept rushing my cut. They were a bit rough with the buzzers. There is friction on the scalp so sometimes it would be nice to go a bit slower. Note: Neither times were busy and not at closing or anything. They dont really ask you a lot of questions about how you like your cut. You give them a run down and they just do what they want but it turns out okay, sometimes too short on top. + Overall a decent experience and good cut. Please take your time. Haircuts are an experience and we can feel it when you clip or buzz our hair. I had a man and a woman but nobody had that womans touch. Be gentle when cutting hair please. Id like to have buzzers glide across my head not skip across it with friction. (I dont have a bumpy head or anything.) Definitely give them a shot! Theyre good but just need to take it slow if possible. Not super slow but you know what I mean. Thank you for the haircuts! :]

Called the front desk clerk and asked to schedule an appointment via phone - their web site wasnt working. She said that I can only book online even though it wasnt working, when I explained his to her she said I can just come in at that time as its never busy. In the past with another clerk she was able to help me since their web site has been having technical issues. When I get there much later at 7 theres a half hour wait and she cant take me in earlier. Just avoid, their haircuts were only OK before but now that they got a new front desk clerk it seems more trouble than its worth.

I had a fantastic experience at this lovely barbershop. With a choir concert the next day and limited knowledge of the area, I searched for a place within walking distance that could give me a great haircut. Upon my arrival, I was disappointed to find that they had closed just minutes beforehand, but the lovely woman inside was glad to stay a little bit later to make sure I was ready to perform the following morning. With fantastic and timely service that suited me wonderfully, its clear that this hidden gem deserves five stars!

Hands down one of the best experiences Ive had getting my hair cut. Cheyenne was great. I didnt really know what I wanted but she worked some magic and my hair looks awesome. She was super friendly and even recommended some places to check out after. I definitely want to come back and Id recommend bishops to anyone. Ohh and they have beer, so that makes it even better. Hands down great place.

Made me wait for 55 mins to tell me that the stylist I booked for is not available and I would need to wait another 15 mins. I told the guy that Id be back after a quick snack in 5 and when I did enter the salon after 5 mins, he tells me that he cancelled my name from the queue. Customers who arrived after me got a chance first. Stepped out without getting a service.
