This place is crap and an extreme hassle to do your laundry. I came from another state and after a long drive arrived on July 9th and had laundry to do. I checked Google Maps for a decent place to do laundry that is safe as well. This place came up. I was working on a very limited budget, expected that $5 would at least get one load washed and dried. Washers are $2.75 to start then you are charged more based on how clean you want your clothes! $3.25 is what I had to pay for them to be clean-ER. Bathroom ran out of toilet paper almost immediately after I got to the laundromat and staff did not restock the entire time I was there, approximately 2 hours, maybe more? Had to go to Goodwill across street, which was inconvenient plus Im disabled, so having to walk the extra distance caused me additional pain.. Also, had to leave my clothes while I went over there to use the bathroom as they were in a machine. There went the safety. Any theives would have had plenty of time, probably 10 to 15 minutes of time to steal my items if they wanted while I had to go elsewhere to do a bodily function! Then tried to dry clothes. Machines have a piece of paper on them that states how much it costs to dry. However when I actually tried to dry my clothes for this amount, they came out damp. Didnt have any extra cash as I am disabled and on a very limited budget, so I had to take my clothes outside and use the drought conditions, the sun and the top of my car to dry my clothes!! Then a white lady with short red hair came out and complained to me because I was trying to finish drying my clothes! I told her the washer didnt clean, dryer didnt dry and this is what Im forced to do because of false claims by the laundromat. She said to me that the washers clean well and the dryers are hot. She then left as I stood confused, wondering why she cared to defend this laundromat so much. Went back in, told staff of problems and this lady. Staff told me that they charge more for clean clothes because of water cost! AND, it turned out this lady was the OWNER!!! She wasnt even willing to admit it was her store when a customer had a complaint!! Obviously bad service! Greedy, shady owner!!! WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!!! RESPONSE TO OWNER COMMENTS-8/10/15 Im stickin w/my story.... Her response speaks for itself.

Expensive but clean and staffed by friendly, helpful people. This is one of the better laundromats in the city. Its a bit more for the Amazon workers, in terms of price. Youre not getting away without spending ~$6 to wash a load of laundry. But at least there is seating (indoor and outdoor), and a few (spendy) bars nearby with food. They have a dollar coin and quarter machine inside. I didnt see any option to get money from a card, so -- bring cash. They have the mainstream detergent brands available for purchase if you forgot your soap (but nothing hypoallergenic that I could see). Wash loads take about thirty minutes. I would estimate there are probably twenty regular washers and maybe eight or so large load machines. Be mindful of the dryers, though: the temperature is quite high and the perforations in the metal can snag clothes pretty easily. On high, things are toasty after thirty minutes; but Id be concerned about heat damage. Its clean, its fast, and the place is usually staffed. My only complaints would be that its pricey and that parking is limited.

Lunar Laundry is the cleanest and most orderly laundromat I have ever visited. The attendants are always pleasant and helpful, there is parking out back and along the street, there are plenty of carts to go around, and the bathroom is always clean. Its in a great spot, too. You can run down the street for a coffee at Cafe Bambino if you like, its an excellent spot. I would say it is a little on the pricey side, but comparable to the prices of surrounding areas. The dryers are quick, and if you put smaller loads in them you can pay for separate 6 minute increments and get your things dry far faster... That helps with the price. They also require far less soap in their washers. The ATM fee is $2.50, the triple load washer is about $6.25 total for hot water and medium soil, ballpark... 25 cents for 6 minutes in the dryer. I got a load of 6 towels and 4 sheets done in about 32 minutes on high heat for $1.25.

Im here on a Tuesday morning, and its not too crowded. Nice environment with free wifi. Bright, spacious. Nice attendant. Clean machines. Free wifi! They have a good website with all prices listed (~$2.75 per regular wash load; ~$1.25 for regular drier load). I brought my dogs bed to wash and put it in one of the large load washers. Wish I had known that if I had just dropped it off for them to wash, it only would have cost $10. Tips: -Free parking in the back or right out front -Come before 0900 for cheaper wash prices! -Make sure you look at the signs - and you know the difference between the super washers (4 loads, 6 loads, regular loads) and the super driers (4-loads and regular loads). Prices are different as well.

Five Star quality machines and service staff. My experience with laundromats has been most are generally not very clean or maintained. you know what Im talking about, you walk in the door and you smell that musty, moldy smell and think to yourself, oh my gosh Im going to wash my clothes in this place. Lunar laundry has shown me nothing but quality and well serviced machines, their counters are impeccably washed and clean. On my first visit one of the owners was in the process of cleaning out and maintaining the dryers. (check my pictures below) Most laundromats do not keep their lint traps in the dryers clean, affectedly causing you to spend more money to dry your clothes. Mine dryed quickly. Cheers

Been Going many years to this location - left during a brief stint before new owners took over and created a better experience. The machines are awesome... like playing the machine game -- where random computer it goes.."free wash" go there long enough and you too may get this!. I go with my daughters and they feel safe there. The attendants are very friendly, took me awaile to meet ALL of them :) since they work different shifts and days. If you have any questions about Laundry: soap, clothes load in which machine... they are glad to help! P.S. Love the DOLLAR coins !

New favorite laundromat! Very clean, no complicated card needed for operation, and the nicest people running it. We were doing laundry on a holiday and stepped outside for a few while waiting on dryers when the doors automatic lock kicked in. Called the number on the window for after hours service and a very gracious couple came down and unlocked the doors so we could get in and grab work clothes needed for the next day. Whew, crisis averted! The fact that they came at almost 10pm on a holiday is just pure class.

Very friendly staff works hard to keep the laundry clean and help out with laundry drying and folding if you leave the washing load with dryer money. Even at peak hours, we did not have to wait more than 5 mins to get a washer or dryer. Their location allows you to go out walking while your clothes are washing, cafe, salons are a stone throw away. laundry has its own parking at the back and sufficient off-road parking available nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our few trips to the laundry.
