Took my 4 year old daughter here for the first time on Saturday. She is autistic and we informed the instructor, Curt, of this fact and told him that we would stay with her throughout the class to help her. He seemed receptive of this information and we were excited for the class. Curt proceeded to discriminate against my daughter the entire class. He lectured her excessively and unnecessarily about crossing a cone barrier into the older kids zone, about looking at his face when hes talking to the kids (something incredibly difficult for most people on the spectrum), and about standing in line when he tells her to. This is toddler parkour, not navy seal training. I understand the need to follow directions for safety reasons, but my daughter has taken plenty of gymnastics and swimming classes that also involved potentially dangerous situations, and none of her instructors have treated her this way. Curt had my daughter practice jumping separate from the other typically developing children. This was alarming to us. He also invited the other kids to try new sections of the course, and try a flip, but not my daughter. The entire class, he was very enthusiastic about the other children and their accomplishments, but did not show this same enthusiasm for my daughter. We have been deeply disturbed by his complete disregard for my daughters feelings and his obvious prejudice against her. I talked to the man at the front desk before I left. He assured me that many of the instructors, including Curt, have worked with people of all ages with disabilities at the gym. I went home and wrote a lengthy email to the gym email provided on the website. After not receiving a response, I called the gym this morning to try and contact the owner or director. The man who answered said the head coach would be in contact with me soon, and laughed when he said he had read my email. I received an email apologizing from the head coach, Brandee. She called me this evening and we discussed the class, she said she had reviewed the class footage and agreed with my concerns about Curts behavior. She assured me she had talked to Curt and would be interested in any special needs sensitivity training resources I could send her. Although I felt Brandee was very understanding and remorseful of the situation, I was unsatisfied with her response that she would just "talk to Curt about it." We havent received any apology or correspondence from Curt, which is tremendously disappointing. I really hope that this review will help anybody with a disability that visits this gym in the future. Please dont let anybody discriminate against your child, or yourself. Im thoroughly disgusted with how my daughter was treated and I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else.

Ive been training with Tyson and Rafe for over a year now, and Ive enjoyed every minute. The gym is a blast and everyone there is supportive and helpful. They teach the basics very well and continually push your limits in safe and fun ways. I started off with very limited parkour skills, and I can already turn heads when I go outside and train =) Not only will parkour get you in excellent shape physically, but youll learn to overcome obstacles mentally as well. Before you know it, youll be pushing yourself to overcome "scary" challenges by training and having confidence in yourself. Having a group of dedicated experts like the Parkour Visions staff is invaluable. Thanks to them all!

Parkour Visions was a place I walked into and knew I was home. If youre a person who cant sit still, doesnt enjoy standard movement, or always wanted to move in a way that expanded and grew as you did, you belong here. I walked in and was welcomed by smiling faces, felt safe there, and enjoyed how everyone understood the need to move the way I did. We gracefully ran up walls, jumped through windows, and flipped over walls. Its liberating, and invigorating. Ive also seen all age ranges here from 3 year olds running around, to a 60 year old man developing balance. They have something for anyone, and I recommend this place as another home to anyone passionate about movement.

Ive go for 1-2 lessons per week, and its literally the most fun way to get exercise. You will get an awesome workout every time you go there, and anyone is able to challenge themselves without feeling overwhelmed, from kids, to young adults, to middle-aged. You will improve yourself mentally and physically, learn to avoid injury while working up to complex physical feats, and grow more comfortable with the way your body moves. Yes, this sort of instructive training can be expensive (compared to a simple gym membership), but its worth every penny for what you gain. You will enjoy every class.

Ive been to one beginner class. I liked that there were a very diverse range of ages, abilities, and fitness in the class. Dont be shy! The instructors and the classmates were very patient and supportive; the focus was not about being better than anyone else, it was about pushing your own limits, whatever they were. Ill definitely go back. Thanks, Rafe and Tyson!

This place is the best place to learn parkour. outside might make it look not good but if you go inside it will look really cool.If you dont like sports but overcoming obsticales then parkour is the sport for you. At the classes they teach you how to be safe when doing it. So if you are planning to find a parkour school then go to Parkour Visions.

The outside looks a bit sketchy, but once you step inside this place is pretty brilliant. I came by for a free intro class, and the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. They really put you through your paces, but dont pressure you to do more than you are comfortable with. If you are interested in the activity, worth checking out.

Visiting Seattle on vacation and took my boys to the 90min Family class with Eric. Eric was really great with the kids (and me) and the course was fun. With the location only a 10min drive from the Space Needle, its a great break from the typical tourist stuff.

I was looking for a safe and effective teacher to learn a backflip. I had no experience and I worked with Chris Hollingsworth. He is an awesome coach and I got everything and more than I could have expected from him. Worth every penny.
