I contracted Valentine roofing to replace our roof in the month of November as our roof appeared to run of risk of leaking during winter rainy month. I obtained three bids for the job and Valentine was the best and lowest bidder. The Valentine sale person (Scott) was clear, to the point, and the bid/contract clearly stated what were included with better material than the other bids. We also want the new roof to be in place by 12/15/2015. two weeks prior to Thanksgiving, as promised, I received a call from Project Manager (Pat) and work out the installation schedule. Material were delivered to our roof with distributed weight on Wed 11/18 the day after the wind storm.. The work crew show up the same morning and start the removal process of the existing roof and immediately cover up the exposed roof with plywood and water proof sheets. They clean up the work site at the end of each day. The crew chief (Jorge) was wonderful but his wife had a new baby on Thursday 11/19 and he was gone for a few hours that day. Just when I start to worry, He show up the very next day and continue working without missing a beat. The new roof were installed exactly as promised, on time and the job were done professionally and looks wonderful. We are extremely pleased and thankful that we picked Valentine for the job.

Love everything about my new roof starting with the bidding process. Cody came out, went up on the roof, got in the back of his van where he had a little office complete with computer and printer. He printed out a computer generated scan of my roof, made me up a bid right there on the spot. It came with samples of all the different products they would be using. I have a complicated roof, with a lot of different pitches and valleys. The entire back side is such a low pitch it is considered flat roof. They put down 1/2 inch insulation then encased it in PVC. Very impressive. I ended up needing to replace 11 sheets of plywood from poor workmanship of previous roofs. The entire crew, run by Cesar, were very efficient, polite and skilled. They went about the day efficiently It took a full 3 days to do and I feel I totally got my moneys worth. Very happy with the results. I am going to be doing the yearly maintenance plan that they offer where they come out once a year, do an inspection, blow off debris, clean my gutters, and put out moss out. I dont think I will be spending any more time on my roof, thank goodness. I would completely recommend Valentine Roofing.

They got the work done quickly but unfortunately that is where the positive ends. The company extended the shingle line on my rental property. After the first rain, large amounts of water came sheeting down behind the gutter and entered a bonus room, drenching the carpet. Clearly this was an issue with the roof job, as there was no mention of anything changing or gutters needing to be adjusted. My management company called Valentine who denied any responsibility, saying they didnt change anything. Naturally, it doesnt take a high school graduate to realize if a problem didnt exist before someone did work on a roof, but existed afterward, it was the completed work that caused the problem. But no, not with Valentine. They took no responsibility. So, instead, I had to hire an outside contractor, paying hundreds more, to fix gutters that needed adjustment based on Valentines poor work which they denied. And not as funny then as it is now, the contractor who came out for the gutters said, "Oh, looks like the people who did your roof changed the shingle line." Unless, of course, you ask Valentine. They apparently didnt do anything... except lose a customer for life.

Things stated with a visit from Cody who told my husband all about Valentine Roofing and all our options. Any question my husband had Cody had the answer. My husband who is not easily impressed was very impressed. Its all about first impressions and what a great impression we had. We know this was the company for us as soon as he left. Sallie was my contact person during the installation process. She is very nice, professional and patient with all my questions. She eased any concerns I had and made me feel very confident that we are making the right choice. My lead builder was Uldario. He is just another true asset to Valentine. Uldarios crew were hard working professionals. They took good care of my home while working on the roof. Every day after they were done they cleaned up any mess. The area around my house looked cleaner when they left then it was when they started. I was so impressed! The roof looks amazing. I will never use another roofing company. Look no further just call! Tell them I sent you!

Had a great experience with Valentine! When I first called the woman who answered was very pleasant and informative. I then had Cody out for an estimate. He was very couteous, and professionsal, and most importantly ON TIME. I had 3 other bids and the guys just came whenever and none were on time from what they said. Valentine was a bit higher than 2 of my bids and lower than my third, but I also did plenty of research on Valentine and they have nothing but positive reviews and they say they are the #1 rated roofing company in Western Washington, so I went for them. I had a full composite roof replaced and they were in and out and finished in 5 days. Probably wouldve been even less if not for 1 rainy day that caused a slight delay. The crew was great and they kept everything dry and safe, then finished the job. I am a very satisfied customer.

EXCELLENT service! From beginning to end, they were outstanding. I had some other contractors come out before Valentine, but the Valentine rep that gave me the estimate was the only one that actually sat down and explained the whole process to me and gave me options. When the crew came out a few months later they were very friendly and efficient. They were done in two days! A week later the crew came out on on their own time to help me with a gutter that was leaking I had told them about before they had started replacing my roof. They also replaced an outdoor light cover that I didnt know was even broken. Keep in mind I had already paid in full at this point when they came back for these things on their own time! I cant speak highly enough of this awesome company!

We got 4 quotes for our roof, Valentine was in the middle but what made up our minds was Joe being on time for our meeting and his professionalism at our home and on the phone. All other communications with Valentine was very professional and courteous. Joe kept us up to date on delivery of materials and dumpster and asked exactly where we wanted them for they would not be in our way but where they can use them. Their crew was friendly and picked up all debris every day before going home. When job was done there was no debris in yard, on the roof, in the gutters, and more important not scattered around the neighborhood. I would certainly use Valentine roofing again and recommend them to my family and friends to use.

Valentine Roofing exceeded our expectations! As noted in previous reviews, we compiled three bids. Valentines offered the same premium roofing materials that another company bid $7000 higher. As a historical home, it is our priority that projects enhance, protect and remain true to the homes character. Our new roof accomplished all of this...it is absolutely beautiful! Luis and his crew were friendly, professional and communicated well with us. At the end of each day, our site was cleared of any debris and tools neatly organized. You will be missing the opportunity to work with a FIVE STAR company if Valentine Roofing is not included as one of your bids.
