At initial contact a meeting was scheduled within a day or two. As I talked to Don on the GAF system, Jared was on the roof taking measurements. Within 2 days I had a written bid. I spent the next week gathering other bids and figuring out what I really wanted. I talked to them several times to clarify and make adjustments to the bid which I received the same day or next. At the same time I had 2other GAF certified bids that I had changed so all 3 contractors were bidding on the exact same roof. Cougar Construction and Roofing was by far the best and I got "good" feelings about Don and Jared. At bid acceptance work was scheduled approximately 30 days later. They week before I was contacted and told the schedule would slip by a few days. By the end of that week it was confirmed that materials would be delivered Tuesday and work would begin on Wednesday. On Wednesday a 4 person crew arrived just before 8 am and Don and Jared at 8 am. They reviewed requirements for the roof and work began. The crew was totally awesome!! The teamwork was totally amazing, it was like 1 guy with 8 arms. It was a fluid ballet that was amazing to watch. The roof was done at 7 pm and they spent the next 30 minutes cleaning up the yard including 4 passes around the house and yard by each crew member. I have only found a couple staples in really odd places since. I have already recommend Cougar Construction and Roofing to 4 other people and need to get more business cards to pass out. I absolutely recommend them for a roof!!

In 2011, Cougar Construction put a new roof on our house and new siding on a large part of the house. We had just bought the home, and the roof and siding was a liability for the bank, so it had to be repaired and updated. Because of the original install of the roof, being 20+ years old, there was some serious issues as a result. Don is knowledgeable and respectable; he knew how to recognize the damage and the cause, and doesnt cut corners! He did it right! As well, he replaced our skylight, with which we havent had a single issue. Dons crew is friendly and good natured and do a great job with clean up. This was a relatively big job and they got it done in a very timely manner, including painting the new siding the exact some color as the rest of the house! I was impressed! Cougar Construction is a highly recommendable business for replacing a roof, as well, as other exterior repairs. Thanks, Don!

5 months ago I contacted Don from Cougar Construction and Roofing to come out and give me a bid for replacing my roof. I was impressed with how friendly he was and that I was dealing directly with the owner of the company and not salesman. Don was very informative and walked me through the entire re-roof process. I hired his company to do the work. His crew was very timely, respectful and cleaned up after themselves daily. My new roof looks great, my house really got a facelift. In April of this year (2014) we began experiencing leaking from our roof. We did not expect this because we had our roof replaced a few years back. The contractor that replaced our roof had passed away recently so we did not know what to do. We met Don with Cougar Construction through Reliable Roofing Contractors of Washington. He called back saying he never got my message - weird as its the same answering machine I left all my messages on - he called back and we set an appointment a week out - took the day off - NO SHOW - NO call NO nothing - guess my time and $ are not worth the time - Connelly const on time and followed up

We used Cougar Roofing to replace our shake roof with a thick shingle. The Cougar team did a excellent job clearing out all of the debris and installing our new roof! Don, the owner, gave us options as to colors and helped us determine what would work best. He wasnt the cheapest or the most expensive either and very trustworthy. Ive already referred him to some of our friends!
