I had the worst experience ever. The owner tries to patronize you (if you are an indian) and makes big promises until you make a payment for the services you are yet to receive. I approached him one Friday evening to get a quote to get a couple of my curtains altered. I just had one curtain with me at that time since I just wanted to show it to him so he can provide me the exact quote, based on the thickness of the curtain, on how much he would charge for each curtain. He kept making promises saying he would return the curtains by next Wednesday. He kept taking gods name and saying he is in this business for more than 50 years. Listening to all this I was fooled into making the payment on the very same day and he asked me to get the rest of the curtains the next day. The next day when I went to drop off the rest of the curtains and tried to confirm with him that he would return the curtains by next wednesday, he unenthusiastically mumbled returning on Wednesday would be a stretch and if you want to get it done well I will return it on Thursday. I could see a change in his attitude since he doesnt have to convince me anymore to pay for the services. I insisted that he return on Wednesday as promised. On Wednesday when I called him checking to see if I could come and pick up the curtains he was like do not come now, it is not ready, come tomorrow. When I called him on Thursday it was still not ready and asked me to come very late in the evening at around 7:30. I went to the shop on Friday and when I checked it was not done well. The curtains were not cut as per the measurements given. I told him that he would have to redo it and he started shouting saying it is the measurement is correct and he would not do it. Now my curtains are showing awkwardly in my living room and bedroom.

I want to start by saying I was a very loyal and well-paying customer of this dry-cleaning alteration shop for almost 2 years. I have had at least 20 shirts altered and all of my dry cleaning done for two years at the shop. I had a couple of unpleasant experiences where he was rude and short with me, once he knocked the button off of and theyre very nice pair of suit pants and when I asked him about it he said to cover it with a belt and its OK because the pants have a zipper. Another time when they altered a shirt of mine I was not able to button up the shirt when I picked it up. But by my last experience I was finished bringing my business to this shop. I asked him to alter a shirt Of mine that had a very obvious plaid pattern and typically he altered my shirts under the arms and along. But this time he chose to alter the back of the shirt making the plaid pattern look extremely awkward. When I brought the shirt back and explained my displeasure in the way the shirt looked and he argued with me telling me I was wrong and that the shirt looked fine. After about 10 minutes going back-and-forth he agreed to fix the shirt but made it very obvious he was annoyed and upset with me. When I picked the shirt up next the alterations have been undone and he explained to me that he was going to charge me to alter the shirt the way I had originally asked him to do it. At this point I took the shirt, thanked him kindly and I have chosen to take my business elsewhere.

Similarly like somone else said on yelp, I took a dress to get hemmed and the owner cut it too short. He told me he would cut the back longer to take my hips into account. When I tried on the dress two days later it was way to short in the back. When my husband called to complain the owner said it was not his fault. That he had to cut it all the same around because of the material. I wish he would have said that before so that I would have not cut it at all. One star because he refunded me the money, but now my dress is ruined and I lost money by getting it altered here. He was very rude and wouldnt admit he had made a mistake. He basically blamed the manufacturer of the dress and my body for the end result.

Bought my dress for $8 , he charged me $60 for alterations. The dress was only shortened barely an inch, its way too overpriced for goodness sake. That was my first and last experience, also he made comments about my character comparing me directly to a friend I brought with me to the store. To me, that is just plain rude to judge someone based on their appearance. Its totally unprofessional. I have another prom event coming up, and this time I wont make the same mistake.

Called in first to see if I could get my pants hemmed that I need done the same day. I wasnt sure if it was possible but Ali kindly agreed to come into the shop so he could take a look. Came in, and he measured the length I needed off and gave me some advice about what I could do with them. He seem knowledgeable and assured me the pants will come out the way I want. Will definitely be coming back since Im a short girl and I need pretty much all of my pants hemmed.

The customer service here is great! The owner is really nice and I enjoy having conversations with him. I bring in all of my clothes to him for dry cleaning. He is by far the cheapest in the area with $5 per pants and will give a volume discount as well! He does great work and, I love coming to him! He also does hemming and tailoring!

Highly recommended. I brought them several coats other cleaners had failed to remove stains from and Magic Cleaners had them looking better than new when I picked them up. The employee (owner?) I spoke with was very helpful. They also mend/tailor clothes. So nice to have it all in one stop!

I have been going to magic cleaners for years now and am very happy with the quality of cleaning. No matter what kind of stain I have on my clothing, they seem to get them all out. I also think that they are much more affordable than other cleaners.

I always take my suits and my boyfriends suits here - the lady at the desk is pleasant and kind, the prices are extremely reasonable, and the turnaround time is ridiculously fast. I love this place!
